Who would you like to see interviewed??

Creator Post Date
bad_kitty DVH is working on a few different interviews at the moment and is also in talks with a few managers to set others up. Who would you all like to see interviewed? Let us know and we will do what we can! March 29, 2008 10:10
Father Pat McGroin Ooh ooh, the Goo Goo Dolls! March 29, 2008 11:15
Sam Claws Darren Shan! March 29, 2008 13:39
Infinity Matt Barlow ex Iced Earth lead singer...he would be appropriate to interview...due to most the albums that were created during his singing with Iced Earth...were about super natural things...plus he was awesome.... March 30, 2008 17:25
Sera JK Rowling, Anne Rice, Stephen King (I know wishful thinking on my part). The artists Voltaire and Linkin Park might be cool? March 31, 2008 21:26
Dr Van Helsing I am doing my best to contact JK Rowling now, however please don't get too excited. She is very busy and I am sure that she receives thousands of requests a month for interviews.

As for Anne Rice, I am going to attempt an interview with her as well but be warned that she has shifted away from Vampires and Witches and writes exclusively about Christianity these days. If I do an interview with her, it may not center on the Vampire Chronicles, which I'm sure many would like it to.

I will attempt to contact the others that have been mentioned. Keep in mind though that I do not do repeated requests to these people. I ask once and if they reply, great, if not I'm not going to be a pain in their butts about it.
March 31, 2008 22:50

Anguish Any of the band members from HIM!! April 09, 2008 13:53
Burke Sullivan Axl Rose or Ville Valo April 21, 2008 11:24
Shayden Rayne Christine Feehan, Laurell K. Hamilton or Savannah Russe. They are all great authors and each have a series based on the supernatural and/or vampires. Savannah Russe has a series about vampires that work for the government, it's an interesting read.
April 21, 2008 20:16
Mistress Apnea the members of the goth rock band bauhaus . April 23, 2008 18:48
Marine_Killer Jet Li or jackie Chan April 25, 2008 14:56

Anguish SHerrilyn Kenyon.
She's a really good author,
and she's written a few good
books about werewolfs, and
vampires!!
April 30, 2008 11:06
Trina Amelia Atwater-Rhodes.
She's one of my favorite authors right now; she does vampires, witches, and shape-shifters.
April 30, 2008 19:59
Infinity I agree with Jericho...Terry Goodkind...now that would be a great interview... April 30, 2008 21:48
Stalker George RR Martin, though he doesn't write about Vampires or anything.

How about Buffy herself? Or Allison Hannigan?

May 01, 2008 23:11
Victor Frankenstein Igor requested the author Christopher Moore after I allowed him leave to travel into the city and purchase 'Bloodsucking Fiends' and 'You Suck'. He's a friendly soul, that Mr Moore. I should know, I have him in a cage in the dungeon. A man who can write such wit deserves his brain to be thoroughly excavated.

And to the gentleman with the Time Machine. When you go back to retrieve Bruce Lee, could you also snatch me his son? I've a crow missing from my castle roof and I think he'd do wonderfully.
May 03, 2008 19:35
Stalker Ummmm...how about JFK? I always wondered if he got all the tail they say he did.

FDR...because the New Deal was not new and in fact wasn't a deal.
Al Capone...what was that empty vault for?
Joan of Arc...was she really so brave?
Jim Morrison...how is the Other Side?
Jimmy Hendrix...why?
Mama Cass...did she really die of a ham sandwich?

May 04, 2008 00:11
Trina To Stalker: No, she did not die of a ham sandwich. 'Mama' Cass Elliot died of a heart attack in her sleep, and the police at the scene noticed the half eaten ham sandwich on the table in the hotel room and it was a horrible joke about her weight. May 06, 2008 19:39
Sin_Nomine I so second the interview with Amelia Atwater-Rhodes. I was going to suggest her earlier, for I love her books, but I couldn't think of her name! Thanks Trina! May 06, 2008 20:09
Trina *smiles* No problem. I'm making my library at school get the rest of the Kiesha'ra series because we only have the first three... *grumbles* I love her work, it's all very well written and so entrancing it isn't even funny. A person can get addicted to her writing. May 06, 2008 22:57
Stalker Ah I was awake at night, waiting with bated breath for an answer to the death of Mama Cass. I actually wasn't making a joke about Cass so much as making fun of someone who asked for an interview with a dead person. But I guess even librarians don't read the whole thread before commenting about things. May 07, 2008 07:45
Trina I'm sorry Stalker, really... It was more that I wasn't sure if you were completely serious, and with the question up there for everyone to read, I guess I felt the urge to clear it up. *blushes* I'm a bit compulsive at times and this was one of them. May 07, 2008 18:09
Stalker I'm never completely serious...well mostly. May 07, 2008 20:38
Jacoby Yeah Stalker. JFK would be cool. I'd like to see Adam Levine or Ryan Seacrest. Switch positions with Ryan! HEHE. Why don't you interview someone from the realm... like a sanctuary leader! Staaaaalker?!?! *wiggles eyebrows* May 19, 2008 00:52
The Asian One What about Joss Whedon? I think he'd make an awesome interview. May 31, 2008 13:00

Malek The best people to see interviewed, though it is unlikely to happen, would have to be Dio, Niel Gaiman(sp?), Chuck Palahnuik, or, just for comedy affect (like it will really happen) Jerry Springer (I hate the show but I find the man hilarious in most things because of his quick/dry sarcasm) July 24, 2008 16:47

Jack A random hobo off the street. July 10, 2009 12:13
Valen Kaielson Philip Pullman, the author of the book series His Dark Materials.

The book series consisted of three amazing parts.

Northern Lights (AKA The Golden Compass) ((Which won the Carnegie Medal))
The Subtle Knife
The Amber Spyglass ((Which won the Whitbread Prize))

And the two companion novels, Lyra's Oxford, and Once upon a time in the north.
'The Green Book' is also in the works as a companion novel.

He is also working on a follow-up to the series entitled The Book of Dust

Undoubtedly the greatest author I know of, right under Dante Alighieri, but you can't interview him because he's been dead for a long time.

:) I'd give an arm to read an interview with Philip Pullman.
August 10, 2009 14:01

Evanna Hawkins ....there wouldn't be any chance of Cristina Scabbia is there? frontwoman to Lacuna Coil, also dating James root of slipknot.

she's so kick ass.

Or either of my idols: Amy Lee, and/or Amanda Palmer from Dresden Dolls
December 13, 2009 09:00
Dr Van Helsing There are so many I want to interview, the problem is contacting them. Sometimes I hear back from management other times I don't. I thought I had an interview with Juliet Landau from Buffy the Vampire Slayer lined up. Even offered to promote all of her upcoming projects. Her manager wrote back and said she probably would be interested. Other times I get people like Johnette Napolitano or Martha Davis that write back immediately and within a week the interview is done.

It really depends on the personality and popularity of the person at the time. A lot of requests are for authors and they are the hardest ones to contact.
