Grace McKenna's Biography
New city, new life, right?
She wasn't so sure about that, but circumstances had forced her into the change.

Life had been so good, almost perfect.
She had found her mate, her King. He was both her Master, and also her equal. They had toyed with a great number of playthings, creating wedges between those who thought they were above the status quo, bringing them crashing to their knees between they two.

Life was good.
He had taught her how to harness energy and use it to do her will. Sure, things sometimes got bloody, but oh how delicious their fear was. Almost as delectable as the taste of passion and desire in their vitae as she fed.

Then the world around her went dark, and it was gone, all of it. Her fangs had mostly receded, as did her hunger for blood. Her ability to manipulate energy had metamorphosed to what some may called her a witch if they ever caught her, but she was far too cautious to let that happen. She anything but weak, she had trained far too hard to be anything but fierce.

Grace wasn't entirely confident on how her life had changed, but here was where she found herself. She was a little lost, not familiar with the territory, or being completely on her own again. Not that she would ever let that stop her, she was a survivor, and God willing, she would take her rightful place, once she learned how to control this new facet of her life.

One day, there would be justice for the turn that life had taken on her.

"Yeah, I've heard," angelic voice not much above a hushed whisper. "Thank you, Grace."
