Maman quietly approached her husband from behind before covering his eyes.
"Mon Amour," she whispered sweetly, "have you been a good boy?"
It was a loaded question; she knew he had been partaking in copious amounts of debauchery. Had rum-drinking been a sport, Baron would be a three-time gold medalist. |

A musical laugh escaped the Baron's wife as he kissed and dipped her. His gift made her smile. He knew the way to her dark heart was rum and cigars of a more refined taste.
"Thank you, Mon Amour," she says sweetly, grasping the bottle of rum by the neck, "you know exactly what pleases me." Her words were accompanied by a raised brow.
"Speaking of pleasing me, has my husband been behaving himself in this Realm?" A simple question really, if you're anyone but Baron Samedi. |
