Virelai Tylwyth 10/25/19 Hunger was a volatile thing. Fickle in what will satisfy it but persistent in its presence. Vir read the message sent and laughed, her head tilting forward to rest against the screen. It was a funny thing, hunger. Vir could not decide if this many was intriguing or vexing. But she was of the mind to find out. Besides, it had been a while since she had pulled the heart from the chest of a creature who reeked of darkness. Most humans were so easy they were boring. This one at least might put up a fight. And she was suddenly very hungry and interested to give it a try. There was nothing quite like the taste of arrogant blood.

She was in the process of typing her reply when a new message arrived, this one giving a location. A tiny map to follow like looking for buried treasure. This little device never ceased to amaze her. She pressed send, tucked her phone into her pocket, and set off in his direction, curious to see what chaos she would find.

Tús maith leath na hoibre.

Be there shortly,
Virelai Tylwyth 10/25/19 Help?

Vir raised an eyebrow at her phone in question before they drew down into a frown even while her lips turned higher into a biting smile. The expression was eerie, cold, causing passersby to step away from her involuntarily as she leaned against the wall of the building she was beside, taking the time to form a response.

“I am not sure. I doubt it really. Unless you have a way to alleviate mind-numbing boredom that does not involve simply drinking liquor and watching the living be fools.”

Everything had grown too calm for Vir's liking. Even tearing the heart from a creature had become a monotonous activity. She was becoming listless, lethargic. Perhaps she was sick.
Virelai Tylwyth 10/24/19 Vira blinked at the sound of her phone going off, the chime surprising her. After all, she hardly spoke to anyone and she only had three numbers in her contacts. One she had never contacted and complicates with the other two had led to little exchange.

A chilling smile curled her lips, eyes glinting in the dark, as she read the message. Short, simple, to the point and from Elis of all people. Curious and unexpected. She didn't remember giving him her information. But that didn't stop her from replying.

What magic is this? I don't recall giving you my number. Unfortunately, it does not seem that I did. At least I have not completed the task.

She paused thoughtfully and tilted her head to the side before shaking her mind clear and continuing.

Nor does it seem I will. But I digress. These things do happen. What are you brings you to “darken my doorstep” as it were?

Mackenzie 10/21/19
Virelai Tylwyth 10/14/19 Yule tasted with lips and tongue, briefly, a flicker of a moment where she felt the warmth of his lips and snapped the image, and then it was gone. She lowered herself down, drew her thumb across her lower lip, smirking as she removed any traces of smudged lipstick. Phone in hand she examined the photo to make sure it was adequate. Satisfied she went to slip the device back in her pocket, but before she could the man took it into his hand and began fiddling with it.

When he handed it back she saw his contact information just below her number one spot that her best friend took up. That brought her number contacts up to a grand total of two. She laughed, the sound of silver and shattering glass, crystalline and clear rising between them. She was still learning to use the device, there were so many different things one could do with them. Giving information so easily was odd to her. What a strange man. “I'll be certain to keep that in mind.” She said, watching as he turned to walk away, having no idea that he had her information as well.

“I appreciate your time!” Yule called after him as he disappeared from sight. He had occupied her time more than any of the others thus far. Though that didn't mean she wouldn't see the others around from time to time, meet them again. The Realm was a strange place, like that. One never knew who, or when, you might run into someone again. That was part of what made it so entertaining.

She slipped her phone into her pocket and tilted her head to look at the sun as it moved across the blue sky. Now, then. She thought. Where to next?
Virelai Tylwyth 10/14/19 “Elis.” She rolled the name across her tongue, tasted it, like the bitterest of chocolates mixed with blood. Usually she found the names suited the people she encountered. Not that many thus far had given their names or asked for hers in return. Why would they? After all, she was nothing and no one to them. And didn't need to be. But this one, Elis, one of god's promises. This one did not fit the name he had given. Or perhaps it did. Many of the mortal's gods could be cruel.

“How magnanimous of you, Elis. To help me so kindly.” The lilt of her voice was teasing, mocking even. She didn't sense an ounce of kindness in this man. But he certainly was interesting, amusing even. Yule fiddled with her phone, opened the camera, and then raised an eyebrow at him. “Shall we continue then?” She rested her hand against his chest, closing the distance between them. Oddly, compared to all the other giants she had caught walking around, he wasn't too much taller than she was, her eyes reaching just level of his collarbones.

“I do appreciate your assistance, Elis.” But he would still either have to bend down or she would need to lift up to reach his lips. She brought the phone into position, slid her hand from chest to shoulder for better grip, and leaned up to kiss him and snap the promised photograph. All of this was going much better – and more easily – than Yule had expected. Her smirk widened just a fraction at the thought, and then she pressed her lips to his at the same time she clicked the little camera button to capture the image.
Virelai Tylwyth 10/14/19 Yule's eyes flickered as the man stepped closer, her nostrils flared, taking in the scent of warm skin and the potential for violence. Emotions and sentiments to her gave off a scent, shifting moods as traceable as the salt of sweat or the musk of – well. His heart beat, his lungs breathed, he was warm to the touch. He did not carry the spice of beast or the metallic trace of the demonic. For all eyes and senses to see, he was very much human.

But there was something about him, something dark and writhing beneath that lovely skin coating, that roused Yule's curiosity. Jittered excitedly along her composure. She wanted to peel back that skin, dig around inside of him, spill his guts figuratively, literally and see what she found. Like a child presented with a particularly prettily wrapped gift. His hand touched her hair, moved through the spidersilk curls and she knew the choice she had made was different than the ones before. He moved first. He questioned her. And it was all so very interesting. What secrets was he keeping? What flavor would that beating heart be?

But no, she told herself. She wasn't here to eat. Just to snatch a quick snack, a taste and nothing more, all for the sake of her game. “My friend and I have a back and forth. A game people call truth or dare, so I'm told. Though dares are much more fun. Still, everyone has something different that can be called a challenge. That can be difficult. It takes getting under one's skin,” She grinned slowly and amended her statement, “Getting to know them, to know what works best.”

He released her hair with a dangerous statement. “You can have anything you want.” One eyebrow raised in amusement. “I just want your name.” Ah, clever. A name to go with a face perhaps. She contemplated him, one corner of her mouth lifting into a tilted smirk. This was so much like setting the rules of engagement. Very well.

“You may call me Yule.” It wasn't a lie. That was the name she had been going by since her arrival, though her true name it was not. She wouldn't give that up so easily. Not being what she was. “I suppose it is fair isn't it, if I ask the same in return. Since I can have anything. Your name? And confirmation that you will assist me in m game.”
Virelai Tylwyth 10/14/19 Harlowe had done a great deal in changing Yule into the creature she was becoming. She had learned a lot from her fiery friend and – unknowingly to her perhaps – it had sharpened the edges of her already bladed personality and barbed tongue. The dare she had embarked on, the challenge of it, coupled with some new and appropriate attire had brought something out in Yule. An entirely different kind of beast than she had been upon joining the living. She was getting the hang of this modern world and found that chaos and amusement could be found in all sorts of forms here.

Determined to fulfill her role in this game they were playing, Yule went out hunting for flesh and blood. Though not in the traditional or literal sense she was used to. Her eyes scanned the crowd, liquid pools catching the light, flashing briefly from green to gold and back again. A smile tugged at her lips, curling them up at the corners. Humans were, for the most part, boring and mundane creatures. Easily broken. But sometimes there would be one or two that exuded a sense of power that was palpable and brought out Yule's detrimental curiosity. And sometimes they were just pretty.

It was this very fact that caused her to reach out to one of those very mortal looking men. Her cold hand slid from her jacket pocket and wrapped firmly around the forearm of a the man in question. Her grip was deceptively light, gentle even, despite the strength hidden in those delicate looking hands. “Excuse me. Do you have a moment?” Her gaze tipped back, smile flashing across her expression. “I require some assistance and was wondering if you might lend me a hand. You see a friend of mine has dared me to snag a few kisses, and photographic evidence of them, from some strangers. It's part of a grand game we are playing. And I was wondering if you would mind lending me your lips for just a moment. Won't take long, I promise. Just a quick kiss and a snap of a photo and you can be on your merry way. What do you say? I can repay you if you like. I make quite a handy friend to have around when one is in a bind.”

This sounds like something the Redcoat would not appreciate, but I am sure your intentions are completely honorable.
Saturday, 10pm.
Mackenzie 04/20/18 Elis
Delayed, but clever.
Filthy man.
Mackenzie 03/17/18 Elis
It's my favorite day, and in honor of that, I must ask.
What came first, Elis or the Griffyn?
Mackenzie 10/07/17 Can't you just let me be angsty for a minute? It is my desire to brood. Also, check your pronunciation. You struggle with fadas.
Mackenzie 10/07/17 I hate the world today.
Mackenzie 09/16/17 Soooo... you're going to let me kill her, and then you're going to screw her to death? Is that it? Because that's what letting me have a go first, means.
Mackenzie 09/16/17 Not even a little. You do understand that she is a walking disease, right? She is a key ingredient to my asset's suffering. I don't want to think of her enjoying anything, ever. I like to think of her completely lifeless, right next to her friends. They make a perfect set. The blonde, the brunette, and the soulless redhead. It's like Jesus smiled down at me and said, 'Let me tell you a joke.'
Mackenzie 09/16/17 Orlav? I can tell you, with complete confidence, that you're never getting in these pants if you get into hers. F-cking disgusting.
Mackenzie 09/16/17 Speak for yourself. Have you ever fed from a chemo patient? F-ck.
Mackenzie 09/16/17 I don't want vampire herpes.
Mackenzie 09/16/17 Adorable. You know me better than that. I don't f-ck around.
Mackenzie 09/16/17 Tried that. Not quite satisfying.
Mackenzie 09/16/17 Those tabloids talk quite a bit. But that's fine. My fragile ego can take that blow. Shatter me, why don't you? Just ruin me. Whatever will I do without a man to validate my existence?
Mackenzie 09/15/17 You're a grandfather? That's so sweet. And at 28? I'm impressed, Elis. No, really. I am. I always wondered what it would be like to date a grandfather. Fathers are so yesterday. It's time for society to step up their expectations.

Sure, you might be able to handle me. But you'd be off your rocker for wanting to.
Mackenzie 09/14/17 Listen, I'm only going to judge you a little bit for your Twilight knowledge. And while, disturbing, I am also borderline impressed. However, if you are waiting for me to turn eighteen, I must disappoint you. That will never happen. If it is any compensation, most women my age were already married with babies in my day. Though, I must say, I'm not sure you could handle me.
Mackenzie 08/31/17 Meet me at the bar in The Plaza in one hour. Look sharp.
Mackenzie 08/31/17 Key points in time, like the precise time someone would steal my clothes and force me to walk home in my birthday suit? Convenient, Mr. Griffyn.
Mackenzie 08/31/17 You are ridiculously dramatic, you know. Be honest. You did stalk me. Be fair. There was a little stalking involved, otherwise you wouldn't have been able to find me.
Mackenzie 08/30/17 Excuse you. Mood killer? The thought of my naked is a mood killer? How goddamn rude are you? That was no walk of shame. That was sheer determination. And karma was on my side. I bet they got mauled by a grizzly.
Mackenzie 08/30/17 F-ck. Don't call me Kiddo. It forces me to remember that you literally stalked me from birth. Like, how much did you actually watch? How much have you seen? Are you the one that stole my dress back in 1929? You realize I had to walk home in naked. Rude.
Mackenzie 08/30/17 Thank God. There is a fine line between honest and slimy. Don't cross it. Don't ever cross it. If you did, I'd have to mark you off my list of acceptable drinking buddies. Swayze does nothing for me. Now, if you want to talk Marlon Brando, we can go there. That will land you in the pants faster than you can yell Stella.
Mackenzie 08/30/17 Listen, I do not appreciate my f-cking lace being stretched. Do you know how expensive it is?
Mackenzie 08/30/17 I'm not sure you'll fit in them. What size are you?
Mackenzie 08/30/17 Listen, if you wanted in my f-cking pants, all you needed to say was liquor and cigarettes. I'm not a difficult woman to please. Honestly.

That might be a lie. I'm definitely difficult.
Mackenzie 08/30/17
You, or the liquor?
