Elowen Jocosta 12/05/19 Wen looked at Hector and her breath was held captive on her throat. There he stood leaning against the wall, a warm drink in his hand dressed head to toe in what could only be described as a dapper threads. The ease of his body pressed against the cool brick didnt quite match the hard observing eyes. Wen was enraptured by the sight of the man she had slowly fallen in love with. How she managed to   weasel her way into his life was a mystery but it was a mystery she would happily leave unsolved.

Words couldnt express how she felt, so instead of talking, instead of calling out his name and proclaiming her love for him, she simply walked up to him, brushed her fingers against his neck and brought his lips down to hers in a kiss that made every inch of her feel warm and fuzzy. The hideous monster  within her brain managed not to sneer in response to the kiss as it was satisfied temporarily by her recent kill. Elowen didnt want moments like this to ever end. Her and Hector wrapped in each other sharing brief moments of bliss. Perhaps one day, one day when Wen figured out her control and her purpose those moments would start to last longer and longer and eventually they wouldnt just be moments but instead it would become her entire life. Immortality could be sweet and blissful and full of love. It wouldnt come easy but it would be something worth fighting for.

Pulling away from the kiss Wen let a warm smile reach her eyes as her body stayed close to Hectors.

"Hi."

Elowen Jocosta 10/06/19 Hec
I did it Hec!
I healed myself.
I slammed my fingers in the door and broke them and then I healed them.
Elowen Jocosta 10/02/19 Hector had gone back to London and Wen had done her very best to keep it together. They hadn’t broken up but they were in limbo and every time Wen walked past his door she felt her heart clench tightly in her chest. He had left a few days ago and she did her best not to reach out to him but today she missed him. Every other minute she was wondering where he was or what he was doing. So to cure that aching feeling she finally walked into his room, the small jar half full of dark crimson still planted on top his dresser. Falling onto his bed she pulled the phone from her pocket and lifted it above her head, snapping a picture before clicking in a few words to send to him.

Hec
I got a job yesterday.

I was also fired yesterday.
Virelai Tylwyth 10/02/19

All throughout the Realm strange events were occurring, dark and dangerous things were stirring within the space they had all claimed as home. And yet, among all of those frightening happenings, there was an undercurrent of something more. Strange flyers were materializing at random intervals. On alley walls, grave stones, in pockets and upon coffee tables, tucked away in the most peculiar places where you would swear there was nothing before.

With them came the doors, black oak with a spindly red flower engraved in the grain, seeming to come from nowhere. They would simply appear in those same odd places. Tucked in an alcove of a back-alleyway, taking up space on a mausoleum, or within abandoned houses. And the flyers were the key.

On the selected date they would take flight, tugging and fluttering like moths to a flame, and lead the way – for those who were found to have one of those pieces of paper in their possession – to those doors. Others might stumble across them in those hidden places and place their hand upon the smooth wood, watch them swing open, and walk through.

That same red flower would bloom on the back of the hand of any who chose to do so. And there would be another pull, a shift in the air as they traveled through darkness, and a second door would open revealing a fog covered woodland. A short way ahead there would be a house, tall and strange, with a large black door inviting them in.
Elowen Jocosta 09/30/19 She spun around and let his lips cover hers before he pulled her back to the room they had just abandoned. Her arms reached around his neck, pulling lips back to hers. Curse this man and the kisses she would never have enough of. "Such a cruel, cruel man..." She  muttered  against his lips before the pair slipped into his room.
Elowen Jocosta 09/30/19 "You are a cruel cruel man, Hector." Reaching out a hand Wen pats his shoulder once before stepping away.

"But I suppose if you insist, I'll go find this mysterious person to kiss."
Elowen Jocosta 09/30/19 Wen tilted her head up towards his before biting down on her lip, her brows pinching together in concentration.

"I was certain it was you but perhaps I was feeling that someone else should kiss me instead."

Trying the hide the smile from her face she drops her eyes to the floor.

"Shall I go find them instead?"
Elowen Jocosta 09/30/19 -leans against door frame-
-watches-
-taps fingers against chin-
"I have this strange feeling that you should kiss me."
Elowen Jocosta 09/27/19 Elowen felt that he was hiding something from her by the way he danced around her question. Maybe if she was talking to Liam at this second she could draw out the entire events of their conversation but till then she melted into his touch and tried to push it out of her mind. These were two important men in her life and as much as she wanted to believe they would be friends she wasn’t naïve. “Why must you always put me at ease?” She was thankful for him and all his perfectly sound reasoning but sometimes she wished he’d let her be irrational. If only for a second. She turned her head and planted a kiss to his shoulder before giving into his soothing aura and letting all anger and tension fall away.
Elowen Jocosta 09/27/19 Elowen listened to the logical things Hec was saying while letting the brush of his lips calm the typhoon of emotions running inside. Her head dropped to his shoulder and she let her eyes close. Why did he always have to be so damn reasonable? He always seemed to have so much control over his feelings and emotions it was hard for Wen to picture him as anything but poised.

But there was something eating away at her, the first words she  had heard muttered beyond his familiar door that night had her hand stopping mid knock while she processed the sound of her best friends voice.

Stay away from me

Liam said that he and Hector had sorted things but something was telling her that there was a lot more conversation that she had missed. Something happened in this room that neither men were telling her.

She turned her head so that her nose brushed along his jaw all the while her fingers squeezed tighter around his own. Her voice was soft and sweet, but it still demanded answers.

"Hector, why does Liam want you to stay away from him?"
Elowen Jocosta 09/27/19 The night of the conversation between the two men Wen had wander down the hall to visit Hec after a long day apart from one another. There had been excitement rolling in stomach and a smile on her face, but then she heard the two men on the other side of the door, discussing her well being. The bits of conversation she heard hadn't been particularly bad, but it angered her that Liam felt he had the right go to Hector. Sure she had told him to try his best when he mentioned it a few nights back but she had said yes in jest.

Startled by Hectors presence Wen turned, her back pressing into the mattress as her eyes wandered up to the man. One of the kittens crawled over her shoulder and she gently reached up to pat its head.
"I just had a run in with Liam. I think it's best if I spend some time away from him."

The word I used is damaged not broken "I came to see you last night and caught the tail ends of your conversation with my best friend. I felt I needed him to be aware that I didnt need his protecting....turns out he just thinks I'm damaged good." Her head turned away from Hector to look straight ahead at the wall, the hurt inside of her pushing it's way out as the tears started to fall.

"That's all I'll ever be."
Elowen Jocosta 09/26/19 Wen burst through Hector’s door, paying no attention to whether he was there or not. She was angry, so incredibly angry. She paced about the room, fingers raking through her tangled locks of hair. Liam was such a d!ck, he was her friend and she felt bad about always putting her problems of him but that didn’t give him a right to call her….to call her…

“Damaged, he thinks I’m fecking damaged. Is that really how he sees me? Damaged, damaged!” Wen caught sight of the kittens peeking their heads up from their curled bodies on the edge of Hector's bed, unimpressed with this disruption that was impeding on their nap. Yes, Wen had approached Liam, she had thought they could discuss things as adults but he felt otherwise. Wen appreciated the gesture, the idea of talking to Hec and protecting her but she didn’t protected. She didn’t need Liam stepping into her newly formed connection. She was still treading water with the man whose room she paced about. What if what he had said would affect the way Hector saw her. What if Hector too believed that she was damaged.

Wen took a deep breath and reached for her necklace, trying to cool her mind and her body. In, out, in, out. She let herself breathe and then dropped to her knees at the corner of the bed, her head resting against the mattress, fingers reaching out to stroke the soft heads of the lazy kittens.

“You don’t think I’m damaged do you?” She asked the sh!ttens in a soft whisper as she a few tears rolled from her eyes.
Elowen Jocosta 09/22/19 Wen let her eyes close for a second too long when she felt his arm brush against hers. It would be so easy for her to just reach out her fingers and wrap them around his arm, pulling her close to her so she could feel his embrace. So easy to turn her head up and get lost in his eyes even as he was telling her to leave. She had to fight all those urges as she stepped away from him and back into the hallway. “Liam isn’t my keeper, Hector. I can go where I please and do as I please.”
Elowen Jocosta 09/22/19 Yes, the blasted agreement that she had been questioning since she had left his bed. She wasn’t naïve in thinking that they would suddenly become something that they weren’t supposed to be but he had made her feel and think about things that her mind still reeled with.

With a sigh, she looked between the man and his bed taking a step away from him hands raised in surrender. “Understood, Hector.” This man was a glutton for punishment and it seemed that she too would have to learn to accept the pain and pleasure of seeing him walk the same halls as she did. At least when he was underground she didn’t have to fear bumping into him.
Elowen Jocosta 09/22/19 Wen watched him shuffle in and out of the room carrying boxes to settle in. When it looked like he was finished moving around Wen kicked the door shut with her heel, stepping forward to place the kittens on the bed.

“Liam isn’t random. He’s my best friend. And what makes you think you had a right to believe yourself special anyways?”
Elowen Jocosta 09/22/19 Wen stepped closer to take the box with the kittens in it. She smiled and leaned her face down allowing them to each rub against her cheek and nose before she pulled box away and looked back at Hector. Was he trying to make her go crazy? Or was this some kind of test that she was failing badly at?

“No, well kind of. But no. It’s Liam’s room. I stay there a lot. I don’t like to be alone for too long.” Wen reached into the box and placed one of the kittens on her shoulder before taking out the second to cradle in the crook of her arm. If she was touching them she wouldn’t need to touch anything else. Again she wanted to ask him why he was really here but she didn’t. She just leaned back against the door frame holding the fluffy little guys.
Elowen Jocosta 09/22/19 Wen slipped out of Liam’s room satisfied with the comfort he had proved her for the night. She always felt better knowing that someone was there when she woke in the middle of the night freaking out about whatever things had haunted her dreams. He had honestly been the best friend to stumble upon in this realm. As she left his room this evening, though, she noticed something unusual in the room across from her friends. Someone new it seemed had moved in unannounced. Suppose while she was here she should greet the newcomer before heading back to her own bedroom to spend the rest of her night. Stepping forward she pushed open the cracked door ready to introduce herself but instead of seeing a new face there stood Hector.

“What the feck?” She stepped over the threshold and turned her head to look back into the hallway at Liam’s closed-door before turning her attention back to Hec. “Why are you here?” Her heart pumped rapidly against her chest in anticipation.
LillyEmperium 08/29/19 Congrats on pod
Jewel 08/09/19 Raises a single brow, staring. Who did he think he was talking to? "Uh, never. I don't donate. This isn't a Robin Hood situation here. I steal and pocket such earnings for my own selfish needs." Looking flabbergasted by the audacity of the man.

Did she come across as the type to donate?

Granted, he didn't exactly look as if he was volunteering down at the soup kitchen. Was he playing with her? This soul sucker was more of a taker instead of a giver. "I like the idea that you would even consider I'd contemplate anything of the such. Look atchu thinking the better of me." Goes to pinch his cheek in play. "Adorable."

Jewel 08/03/19 Stares, looking towards him with curious wonder with an occasional blink. "Wait, wait, wait.. let me get this straight." She holds up a hand as if to request him to hault. "You're kidding me, right?" He has to be. This might possibly be the funniest thing she has heard all day.

"You're telling me." Points to self. "That you." Points towards him. "Were going to donate, all thirty-eight dollars, to an orphanage?" Holds back. "Basically I took a plain t-shirt from little Timmy and a bowl of rice for dinner from children? At that rate, they might just thank me. Why so cheap?" Tilts head as her hands rest on her hips.

Jewel 08/02/19 -gasps-

LillyEmperium 07/05/19 Welcome to the coven. Name is Lilly, if you need anything feel free to ask
Mackenzie 07/05/19 "Good, good. Though I do enjoy a good challenge." Mackenzie gifts him a good-natured smile as she accepts his token of whatever it is, take a sip without second thought. Careless, reckless, absolutely ridiculous. "Mackenzie. It's a pleasure, Hec." Another drink is taken before it's return is offered. "Now. Let's get you kidnapped, shall we?"
Mackenzie 07/05/19 "More than ninety years ago," she watches him, wondering at what he might do with this all. But then, something magical happens. He accepts her bullsh-t. "Well, this is a turn. How do you feel about booze, murder, and New York City? These are important details."

And then, it strikes her, a hand raising so that she might hold up a single finger. "Fun murder. I should make that clear."
Mackenzie 07/05/19 "Well, since you asked.." Brazen, Mackenzie would never not own up to her bullsh-t. She would also continue to bullsh-t. "I just wanted to stage a little kidnapping. Thought you might enjoy it." Brow furrowing, she shakes her head. "I didn't have a plan at all. I was bored.

"What did you plan to do about being stalked? Is this it?"
Mackenzie 07/05/19 Watching him stand to a formidable height might make some of her size nervous, but not her. Instead, a grin instantly pulls at the corners of Mackenzie's mouth. "I fancy myself more an Elmer Fudd." Hunting rabbits, indeed. Waving a hand, she mocks defeat. "But you are clearly the expert in these things, so."
Mackenzie 07/05/19 Don't do it. Don't do it. Don't do it.

Mackenzie's desire to level a low blow to the posterior is high, but she has a purpose. Such theatrics would not help her in the slightest. Thus she maintain's control of her impulses. Instead... "How sweet. Bunny ears."
Merida Campbell 07/04/19 Merida would tilt her head as she spoke "Thank you."
