Saint Patricks Day - the most terrifying holiday for all the of the Realm. Why? Because within the depths of the Catacombs of After Dark is a tiny Irish woman, dark and unsavory in many ways, who like all the Irish... drink whiskey like water. Through the Realm she weaves, not quite stumbling but certainly nowhere near sober, until finally she comes upon her victims. No, not victims. Subjects. As she passes each familiar face, Mackenzie lifts the ever present bottle of Jameson as though saluting, and takes a long pull from the bottle as she places it to her lips before lowering it once more and momentarily smacking her lips together.
"Let me tell ye something about Ireland. Back in the good ole days, ye wear GREEN. Ye sing yer songs and for fuuuuucks sake, ye...ye...ye..." Mackenzie pauses, her slightly slurred brogue matching her lightly glazed blue eyes as she loses her momentum. "Ah feck it. Erin go bragh!"
With that, she saunters off, singing loudly though thankfully not off-key, to find her next...you know. |

Mackenzie strolls up, garbed in a simple green sundress that falls to her knees, the heels of her Couture ‘leprechaun’ stilettos clacking on the ground beneath her. A basket in one hand and a bottle of Jameson in the other, she grins impishly and lifts her liquored hand to tip her green top hat before speaking in her thick Irish brogue. “Bloody good day, this one is. Happy Saint Patricks, drink up!” With that, she sets the basket down and pulls out a matching green top hat akin to her own and plops it on your head before walking off again, weaving about.
This girl had obviously started celebrated… early.

Mackenzie strolled up to Dannica, drunk as a sailor, but still somehow managed to keep up with herself on her feet. Of course, she had had years of training. Grinning as sweetly as her evil self could, she dropped down on one knee and took one of Dannica's hands. "Danni... you've been here for me for... for... FOREVER... aaand I've grown rather fond of you... aaaaaand I think... well... I wish... um... would you..." The slur of her speech said it all. "Willyoumarryme?!" |

A face that rarely ventured to London much any more did just that, and a familiar figure wearing a trenchcoat and Stetson was seen leaving in the area around After Dark coven entrance. With his passing an envelope was left, addressed to "Lady Dannica" and contained a birthday card.
Lady Dannica,
I hope this card finds you in as good health as can be expected for one of your disposition and I congratulate you on the second anniversary of your arrival to the realm. There are few of us veterans left these days and all too much fresh blood around.
The card was not signed with a name, but was sealed with green wax in a distinctive 'V' shape. |
