| I was born with the stars and I chose to join the rebellion. I had a great run as a tempter. I got promoted to torturer and enjoyed it for awhile, I invented a retinal scanner for reading the souls of the damned, although the jealous ones were saying I just liked poking people in the eye with a sharp stick. I was recently promoted to middle management in the torment division overseeing 126 demons and their charges. Its a desk job though and not all that challenging, so I got permission to roam the earth during hours of darkness to spread other kinds of evil. The compromise involves me taking a vampire's body which by its requirement for sleep makes it very hard for me not to report back to hell each day. After years of swashbuckling with the top chess players in Hell such as Death himself, I now play professional chess amongst the humans, this allows me to roam from city to city and avoid suspicion.
