At the mention of the Ducati Bree threw her head back and laughed and laughed and laughed some more. The Scot would rue the day he had enabled her key card again, and while he had been good at hiding it, Bree almost always got to do something involvinh the prized wheels.
Sitting down by the big table in the kitchen, inhaling the familiar scents, Bree felt something resembling peace settle down when she took the first sip of tea.

Feeling Parisa move along from one place to another, Bree felt more than a small hint of amusement. Had she really been that predictable? She would have to change that eventually. With old age came the freedom to to behave in unexpected ways. Some were expectiong it, so perhaps iot was time to give it to them, or maybe not. As Parisa finally turned the cornor, and stopped in her tracks, Bree jumped out of the chair.
Yes I am fine and well rested, but a mug of tea would do nicely. Do you have any biscuits to go with it? I have gotten a hankering for them. |

She had wanted the return to happen a bit differently. Quietly slipping in through the back door to the Manse came to mind, but of course The Scot and the fates had different plans enitrely. Many were still resting while others began to wake up. Bree felt the connection snap into place the moment they woke. Rooting around in their cage, she almost clapped her hands, joyous that Paris had managed to keep a lid on the mindful beaties which had caused so much trouble in the beginning. Knowing Parise was already on the move, Bree sank down into the comfy chairs in the entry and waited, knowing it would not be long. |
