Mortal ThoughtsWhat are you listening to right now?
Created by Dr Van Helsing
Liam Moore 02/10/20 Liam pulls her back into a hug.
"I promise Elowen I wont leave."
Still really didn't want to become a mortal but it was better than dying.
"Soo moving on from this depressing topic do tell me how was his face? Did I hit him good? I slugged him with my healing hand so I held back a lot but it was already healing when I saw it so did I do good or should I hit him again?"
Pulled away from the hug smiling at his friend
Virelai Tylwyth 02/08/20 Virelai was fond of Wen. Though they had not spent much time together, she could recognize that this woman was clever. Her spirit was wild, her emotions were worn openly, at least in the cases that Vir had seen, and her strength and abilities were ever growing. She was also one of the people, she was one of those who made up the core of Wahnsinn, representing the whole from a perspective Vir did not have.

And so Virelai listened with rapt attention, taking in those suggestions and ideas and mulling them over in her mind. She enjoyed a spirited fight and the idea of sparring together was a good one. Learning from one another, sharing strengths, assessing weaknesses. These were all parts of running a strong community and it would be a missed opportunity not to make the process more organized. After all, an army of scattered soldiers was useless against an enemy. Uniting the people of Wahnsinn and strengthening their alliances with those outside of their own coven was an important part of ensuring their survival. It would also, hopefully, bring them closer.

After a brief lull in the conversation, during which she contemplated the best course of action for this, Vir nodded her head and squeezed Wen's arm light. “It is a grand idea. A training ground would be an excellent addition.” The best way to learn what one's people were capable of was to throw oneself into the fray of them. It wouldn't do to simply watch over the coven and its members. Vir would need to get her hands dirty.

It was difficult for her to invest herself in the lives of so many. Old habits were hard to break and Virelai had spent too much time in solitude during her long life. It put her at a disadvantage and she knew it. However, she wasn't going to be deterred by such a thing, not after finding a place she might be able to belong. She couldn't help but laugh at such sentimentality. Half a year ago she would not have cared what happened to this place or the people in it. Vir was someone for whom time moved too slowly, so she was amazed at how quickly the heart could change. Perhaps her time living in a mortal body had effected her more than she had thought.

“This will be a good place to start. And of course we will be having a lovely party for Valentine's day. That at the very least, with luck, will bring people together. At least, that is the goal. I do hope you will join us for that as well. The last party we had was a mess due to the Legion. This one will be better, less tension without the life or death situation, at least that is the goal.” Her gaze slanted towards the woman and she smiled slowly. “And what about you, Wen. What are your goals?”
Liam Moore 02/07/20 "I have never been a human a day in my life."
Something weak as a human, something so fragile, something that would age and eventually leave her anyway.
A chill ran down his spine as she mentioned Hector doing it.
Liam never thought to go to the man to fix him, when they had their spat he turned him mortal for a brief second it honestly still haunted him a little.
Though of course Wen didn't know that, they had agreed not to tell her.
"If that is the route I decide to take it will be the last's too risky to go straight for it."
Liam Moore 02/06/20 Liam held her close to him, fighting back the tears.
He was a rock and he wasn't going to cry, he really didn't wanna seem weak in front of her.
Though at her words he pulled away slightly.
"Elowen what are you talking about? I don't wanna give up my memories.
If I forget everything I wont be me anymore, I wont know the people I did or do. I don't know who that Liam would be, and I fear I wouldn't like him."
Liam Moore 02/06/20 "I've always been dying, I was cursed to be this thing and at first it was fine I didn't notice anything wrong with me but lately. I'm getting weaker, I keep tossing up my meals."
He sighed.
"I don't kill mages and warlocks because I think it's fun. I was cursed with magic so magic can fix me or so I thought. It's just I can't find the cure. My body is failing me...but I promise I'm not gonna just give up and accept my fate. I just wanted you to know"
Liam Moore 02/06/20 Liam was beyond shocked as his best friend slapped him in the face, he didn't expect a good result but he certainly didn't expect to be slapped.
"Elowen I am sorry, I am still looking for a cure but things are looking grim. I just thought it would be easier to tell you now than for you just wake up and I not be here."
Liam Moore 02/06/20 Liam let out a rather large sigh as he entered her room, and he bit down on his lip staring at her.
There was nothing but silence for a moment or two.
"I have thought of this conversation so many times, what I was gonna say, how to word it.
But there is literally no easy way to say this so I'm just gonna spit it out."
He went silent once more gods he wish he didn't have to tell her but it was wrong not to.
"Elowen I'm dying"
Liam Moore 02/05/20 "Well good news not brain dead and I did not sneak out when you were away."
Gives her a small smile.
"Certainly didn't go bother a certain male but that's not what this is about."
Liam Moore 02/05/20 Liam knocks gently on her door.
"Wen? Are you in? I need to talk to you about something."
Richard Lamonte 02/01/20 The giant maneuvered through the woman's quarters to her bed where he gently deposited Liam. For a moment his sky blue hues remained on Liam, inspecting the sleeping man for any abnormalities while also feeling ab it of envy for his calm slumber. Sound sleep was a luxury Richard hadn't experienced since his return to Los Angeles. His gaze shifted to the woman when she moved closer to inspect the sleeping vampire. Quickly, his eyes snapped away from the scene; shows of affection always made him uncomfortable.

Then came the question. Would he be painfully truthful or grotesquely optimistic?

"I held back. A lot. I just gave him an impromptu nap. I just need you to make sure he wakes up with his memories. This is all new to me so my handle isn't the best." Or he didn't hold back enough and Liam would wake up without knowing basic bodily functions. Or his conscious was stuck in another plane of existence. So many routes this situation could of gone. Rolling his shoulders Richard let out an annoyed sigh. The throbbing in his cheek wasn't making him any more chipper. "He'll be fine. Just ask him stuff when he gets up, I don't know." Quickly he stomped his way out of the room, desiring nothing more than the solitude of his own room away from anyone and everyone.
Richard Lamonte 01/30/20 With the short, unexpected glimpse into Liam's recent memories when he put him to sleep there was a woman he had recently interacted with who seemed to be close to him. Ellen or something. The name was unimportant. The large man trudged down the halls of Wahnsinn with a certain male vampire fast asleep in his arms. A scowl was present on his features, making the bruise on his cheek all the more noticeable, while he searched the rooms until he finally came to an occupied one.

The woman looked close enough to what he remembered. Richard cleared his throat loudly. "I believe this is yours?" His head jerked in the direction of the sleeping Liam.
Liam Moore 01/30/20 "Personally no, but there is something so much more fun with getting caught. The risk rises it's much more fun."
He makes a face.
"Honestly I forgot the main goal was not to get caught, I would make an awful thief."
Gives her a somewhat confused look.
He had no problem giving her his shirt but half his shirts were her shirts anyway.
"We have a deal"
Liam Moore 01/29/20 Liam gives her a look.
"Come now Wen don't put any good ideas in my head!
Though I bet I could run faster than you."
Continues to smile at her.
"I'm not trying to brag but I don't even need to limber up before I run. Impressive I know."
Arches a brow at her.
"Well I simply don't know what I could give you that is equal to that amazing dance."
Liam Moore 01/29/20 Was gonna question the no to the milkshake till she did her little dance.
The most amused smile came to Liam's face as he licked his lips and nodded his head.
"You are very talented perhaps you should show me that dance move"
He started to lead her out of the kitchen.
"I'll even pay for the frenchies since you listened to me rant"
Liam Moore 01/29/20 A small smile came to his face.
"That is a perfect idea a side from the fact Hector isn't here."
He frowns a little and huffs.
"I am so angry I need like a milkshake! Wanna go grab one? Maybe some fries."
Liam Moore 01/29/20
"No I don't do crushes."
Proceeds to shake his head a few times to further prove his point.
"He doesn't like men so he would probably like you biting him more.
Though if I were you I would try something a little more painful."
Bites his lower lip.
Liam Moore 01/28/20 Comes stomping into the kitchen.
One hundred percent ready to be over dramatic.
"You will not believe this! Okay that guy I told you about the one that had the wife and kid!
Well he's back and being his over dramatic and difficult self!"

"He is clearly just thinking he is good looking so he can get away with being moody and broody!
He ain't even that good looking and can you believe he shoulder checked me!
Fucking men Wen!
Liam Moore 01/27/20 Wen
Where are you?
I have a rant you will not believe this shit!
Virelai Tylwyth 01/22/20 Virelai waited, her lashes lowered to conceal the golden gleam rippling through her irises. Her senses extended, natural and preternatural, reaching to observe. The rapid breathing that had caused Wen's chest to rise and fall like the fluttering wings of a bird halted, caught in her throat as the information she had been given no doubt twisted like a knife through her mind. There was a strange stillness, the moment before a cliff-fall, and then the woman ripped her arm away from Vir who pivoted slightly to keep Wen in her sights.

Tears and rage followed, bubbling up, boiling over. A beastly, red hot emotion that twisted like a key within a lock, releasing rage and a thirst for violence. Virelai to taste the bloodlust in the air. It was not surprise nor fear that sent goosebumps skittering along her pale skin as this emotions was directed at her. But rather intrigue. Her few interactions with Wen had been civil at best, drunken or a bit crazed at worse. She had been gone a month and had come back with something more. Though it was possible Vir had just never had the opportunity to experience this particular side of Wen before now.

It reminded of her of Josie. Sweet, dark, Josie. It was a testament of the living how they chose to react to death, how they chose to honor the dead. Vir often had to remind herself that her ways, though she too now lived and breathed, were not theirs. If she were asked she would admit that even she mourned the woman of books and black magic, that she would have liked Josie to stay. But that was not her choice. Their bargain had been made and carried out and all she could do for her was fulfill that promise. Just as all she could do now was watch and wait silently as Wen's emotions decided which direction they would take her.

At last the moment passed and, as though nothing had transpired between them to interrupt their walk, Wen took hold of Vir's arm once more and steered her down the hall at a brisk pass – all the while peppering her with more questions, these ones pertaining to their current situation. And so she choose to answer them one by one. “We are still allied with Sine, though I would like to do more with them. And with the other covens. Legion left us all grasping at straws to hold on to what was ours. I do not wish to repeat the same mistakes.”

Vir had nimbly skipped over the bit about being Sine's first line of defense. She thought that over a bit longer in silence. Their shield, hmm? The icy cold fingers of her free hand reached out and brushed along the wall of the hallway as they walked. This building was symbolic of that. The place that would be taken first by an enemy before it was able to slither further below to the others. Vir wondered, earnestly, how she might strengthen those ties and how useful it would be to those of Wahnsinn to do so. She wondered too why it still felt as though she were an outsider even while standing in the center of this place. But that would be for another time.

“I agree with you.” Her gaze turned back to Wen and she spoke honestly, thoughtfully. “We were all unprepared. Not only those here but the Realm as a whole. However, we should work with what we have to start with. Complacency will lead to contempt. What do you suggest? Should we bring others in to strengthen numbers? Or do we increase our alliances with those outside of Wahnsinn? How do we strengthen the bonds with those within? I am displeased with the quiet. I imagine I am not the only one. So how do we wake the dead, so to speak?” She would not make a hasty decision. It would be a mistake not to hear the opinions of others and simply decide everything on her own. She knew this. And she intended to work with the people here to everyone's benefit, not her own self interests.
Virelai Tylwyth 01/18/20 It was not death, but rather dormancy, that had taken root in Wahnsinn's halls. It had begun well before she had taken up the responsibility of the coven and Vir, despite her trying, had yet to find a solution to alleviate that quiet and stillness. The woman's free hand lifted and rested over top the arm that gripped her tightly, squeezing in as reassuring a manner as she could. Wen had been gone for a while and now she had questions upon her return. Virelai understood that and she wanted to answer those questions as thoroughly as she could.

They walked through the low lit halls together, the drafty old building had its own charms but it was not what Vir was used to. Her manor home seemed so far away now and the woods were nowhere to be found. Though she could reach them any time she wanted to, it was not the same for everyone else, and it was yet another thing on the list of many that Virelai wanted to change. However, rapid change would not do well now, might even cause an upset to the people she lead, and that was the last thing she wanted at this moment.

Drawing a deep breath, Vir spoke softly, her lilting voice carrying through the quiet. “Things have not been the same since the fall of Legion I think.” Virelai was almost certain, from what she could tell, that it was then that the decline began. “The holidays may be some of the cause of the quiet. It seems even here the Dark Season holds sway, bringing with the cold an accompanying silence.” Her smile was tight, strained. “It is unpleasant I imagine, for those not used to it.”

While she spoke, Vir contemplated how to answer the more important of the questions asked of her. What had happened to Josie, the woman who had been one of Wen's best friends as far as she could tell. Finally, she decided the best thing to do was to tell her the truth, at least as much of it as she knew. They kept walking, but Virelai tightened her grip on the woman, as if to lend her strength. “Though it is not true for the others of Wahnsinn, Josephine is not here any longer.” There was an uncomfortable pause, a brief one, before she continued.

“I am sorry, Wen. But Josie has left this world. I do not know the full details of why that was the choice that she made, but she came to me and asked me to see her off.” She did not know how Wen would react to this bit of information, how she would react to Vir who had ushered her friend to that final resting place at Josie's own request. Virelai had taken that life. It was not the first time someone had come to her in order to cross into the hereafter, but with Josie it had been the most difficult task. And the truth was that she missed the young witch very much. She couldn't even begin to fathom how Wen would take the news, and so she waited, and held on, and offered what comfort she could.
Virelai Tylwyth 01/13/20 It was strange, how fickle the human heart could be, how easily it could change. The heart was, perhaps, the one part of Virelai that tended to error on the side of human even after the return of her body. During her time with the living, with the coven specifically, Vir had grown used to the bustling activities and the fickle, flickering emotions that held sway over the inhabitants around her. She had come to enjoy the currents, the sounds, the shifts. Never a dull moment.

So when it happened that all of those things stopped, that quiet took root and spread around her once more, she was less than pleased. Timing was everything among the living. There was never enough time and it was never the right time until it was. Perhaps it was that she had taken over for the leaders who were familiar in Wahnsinn at the wrong time. But there was very little she could do about it now except work out what to do next. At first she had spent most of her own time locked away in her office, going over paperwork and sorting through what was required to accomplish her goal. But lately, lately she had taken to wandering through the coven halls. And it was, while doing this, that she met with Wen.

Wen and Josie had been special. A pair. Two people Vir had thought she could find a friend in at one time. But a lot had changed since then. Josie was no longer there – at the thought of that Vir glanced down at her own hands before returning her attention to the woman resting a hand on her shoulder – and Wen had only just returned from being away. Vir reached out at that familiar expression, that gentle touch and the mad babble of words. She wondered, maybe even worried, how Wen was doing now, if the change was creating a new layer of anxiety in her. That was the last thing she wanted. So when she replied, it was in agreement and with a gentle smile.

“We do. Would you like to walk and talk or drink and speak?” Shifting, Vir looped Wen's arm through hers while the woman decided.

Liam Moore 10/09/19 Purses lips together at the phrase he doesn't know what he can do.
Oh he knew, that was still haunting him.
"Hector is a strong man Wen I am sure he is fine, but if he is in trouble I can think of no one better to save him."
Holds her once more, placing his chin on top of her head.
"How did you know that is exactly what I wanted you to do?
Want me to come with you to the airport or at the very least walk you to the end of the compound."
Liam Moore 10/09/19 Arches his brow ever so slightly.
"Irrational fear? Or maybe you just miss him?"
Smirks at her before nodding his head.
"Go on, go get your man. I'll be here when you get back. Don't lose the clothes, or let Hector wear them it is obvious my style is better than his.
And don't do anything I wouldn't do."
Liam Moore 10/09/19 Hugs her back eyeing the bags behind her.
He gives her a look but pats her head.
"I wont stop you but two things, may I at least know where you are going, and once you arrive may I have a text letting me know you are safely there? We both know how I worry."
Geoffrey Drake 10/04/19 Elowen Jocosta just failed at stealing money from you! Geoffrey felt a female's hand patting his bottom and her hand slipped into his back pocket. He growled under his breath. "First my brother, now me? He's the widower...I am taken."
Shadwyn Drake 10/04/19 Elowen Jocosta just failed at stealing money from you! Drake arched an eyebrow when someone's sleight of hand slid into his pocket. He turned around to see Elowen holding an empty wallet. He grinned at her as he looked at her. "Am I the coven ATM or is this a new way of telling me something I don't know."
Hector Olivier 10/02/19 Hector didn't reply. He was somewhat preoccupied. Shame, really, as he'd have very much enjoyed the photo...repeatedly.
Hector Olivier 09/30/19 The door closed with a click and Hector stood the wrong side of it...or the right side, depending on your point of view. Within a few steps, he was behind her, grabbing her wrist and pulling her round, where his lips found hers, cool against warm, soft and inviting. ”They can have you later, ” he whispered against their kiss as he lead her back toward his room.
Hector Olivier 09/30/19 "It'd probably be for the best," Hec replied, his hand reaching to take hold of the open door, readying himself to close it.

"I'd hate for them to feel left out. I mean, I've had at least four of your kisses now and they're delightful. Who am I to deprive the world of those lips?"

Hector Olivier 09/30/19 "Me? Kiss you?"

Hector stood from his desk and walked over to the door, looking down at the woman in front of him.

Liam Moore 09/28/19 Liam paced back and forth in Mel's room holding his phone tightly. "Listen Mr. J I don't need your judgement right now." Could he actually hear Mel's friends? No but it made him feel better. "Okay you are right I just gotta call."

He would dial the number and put the phone to his ear, his teeth chewing his bottom lip. Lucky for Liam it wnt to voice mail.

"Okay I am a sh*t friend most times, I am bad with emotions and I say stupid sh*t sometimes okay most times. But I love you Elowen and if I am being honest I probably need you more than you need me. I just want you to be happy and I am sorry I hurt you. I'm gonna hang up now."

And he did, his eyes would look at both Mr. J and Chuck. "That went as well as we could have imagined boys."
Hector Olivier 09/27/19 "It comes with age," he replied, slipping his arm about her as he drew her closer to him. "You're dating an old man, remember?"

Well now, that was the first time that word had been used in regards to whatever they were. Joy.

"Give it time if you need to, but don't leave him out in the cold too long. Liam is a good man. He just has his demons is all."
Hector Olivier 09/27/19 'Hector, why does Liam want you to stay away from him?'

Hec frowned, pressing his lips to her forehead so his expression removed itself from her view. He'd asked Liam if they would tell Elowen of the events of the night and the pair had agreed to keep it between themselves. 'I'm ready to deal with the consequences, and I won't lie to her,' Hector had told the man, and here she was, demanding answers.

But what would happen if he told her the truth? Would she walk away from him too? Who did Elowen have left without himself or Liam to watch over her?

"We're friends, he even shared a drink with me," Hector replied, turning his head to press his cheek against her hair. "We both care for you, El, we both want what's best for you, and that's all that matters."
Hector Olivier 09/27/19 "Oh," Hector replied as he knelt beside her, sitting with his back to the mattress, his legs outstretched. Turning his head to face her, Hec reached for her hands and slipped his fingers between hers. "I don't think he meant it to sound how it does," he replied. "I don't think he was using the right words for how he feels about you, or himself. He cares very deeply for you, that much is obvious just by the fact he came here at all."

Hector brought her hands to his lips and presses a soft kiss to her knuckles, watching her face over the horizon of their linked hands.

"You can do as you want, and spent time away from him if you feel that's what you need. But I believe he has your best interest at heart, even if he's not sure how to process everything. It'd be a shame for you to lose someone so important to you simply because he cares so much."
Hector Olivier 09/27/19 Hector appeared out of the bathroom, freshly showered, clad in sweatpants. In his hand, he held a hot cup of coffee that he placed upon the dresser as he entered the room.

"Elowen?" he questioned, looking around the side of the bed to see her on her knees.

Yes, he'd heard what she'd said, and the statement confused him. Had Liam told her the truth of their encounter? Hector had kept the event to himself, and he assumed the vampire would follow suit. But, if she knew about the word, she would surely know what else had gone down in this very room. And that had been a side of Hector he'd been purposely keeping to himself.

"Are you okay?"
Liam Moore 09/26/19 Liam just stared at her, he wasn't in the mood for any of this. "You do recall you said I could do what I did right? While I meant it as a cute play thing and things did get out of hand once again I say it's resolved. If you are damaged you are getting fixed if you are broken there is no putting you back together."

That night where she decided to tell Liam about Hector he was nothing but positive, supportive, overjoyed for his friend and she was coming at him with this sh*t. Another sigh would come from him.

"You do what you think is best Wen, I believe whatever I say wont matter at this point. You will know where I'll be if you need me."

With that he would leave her, he was so damn good at putting on a face. He wouldn't stay here, he couldn't cry here that was to risky. He would go to Sine to Mel she wouldn't judge him.
Liam Moore 09/26/19 A sigh would leave Liam before he removed her hand from his shirt and moved his face a respectable distance away from her. "And here I thought we agreed it wasn't your business what happened between us. It matters little."

He would stare down at her. "Damaged is the word I used never once did the words broken leave my mouth. And we aren't having this conversation. Me and your boy toy worked it out. So there is no need for all of this."
Liam Moore 09/26/19
Hector Olivier 09/22/19 "Mmmhmm," he replied, pressing the side of his face to the edge of the doorway as he walked her walk through it. "That we can agree on. You, Wen, you can do anything you want. I hope you remember that."

Hec straighted up, taking the inner handle of the door in his hand. Though he lips parted as if he was about to speak, he stopped himself from doing so. Instead, biting his lip, and letting out a breath, he offered her a nod and closed the door.
Hector Olivier 09/22/19 "Good," Hector replied. As he closed the gap between them, his arm brushed against hers. And, as he opened the door to the room, he looked back to her, swallowing down a hard lump in his throat. Must he be such a stubborn, beautiful b*stard? "Then I guess it's time we said goodnight. Liam will be wondering where you are."
Hector Olivier 09/22/19 "Fair," Hector replied as he lifted up the suit that had been draped over the box, walking to hang it in the wardrobe. "Me, Liam, who knows how many beds there are reserved for you. Maybe it's the men you're not sharing a bed with that we should consider 'special'."

When he looked back over to Wen, a cheeky smirk was plastered over his face. And, as he walked over to her, he slipped his hands into his pockets, to save himself from reaching out and touching her.

"I can assure you that the relocation of my bed in no way changes our agreement, Elowen," Hector began, looking behind him to the unmade bed, and then back to her. "Understood?"
Hector Olivier 09/22/19 “Ah, so you make a habit of staying in random men’s rooms at night. I see how it is. There I was, thinking I was special.”

Hector stepped past her, back into the hall, to grab the last box and took it inside with him.

“Were you born in a barn?” he called back, placing the box on his bed. “In or out?”
Hector Olivier 09/22/19 ”Don’t...” Hector began, an open box in his hand; the curious faces of two small kittens peaking out from within. He was smiling, always with the smiling, but he certainly didn't want Elowen getting the wrong idea.

”I couldn't breathe down there,” he admitted, handing her the box of Sh!ttens. “I wasn’t made to be an earthworm. I need air. Please tell me that’s not your room?”
Virelai Tylwyth 09/21/19 Elowen. No, just Wen.

That was what the blood had said. This one liked to touch, to feel the contact of another's skin. Just like the one who's face the creature was borrowing. To touch another was to be alive, to feel that life in them. But the shadow had no real life, just fake skin modeled after one who did and molded over darkness. Though it could not appreciate this strange action, the creature reached out and placed a hand on the woman's shoulder.

“Wen.” The voice was soft, caressing, but still contained some of that rasp, as if Yule had smoked a whole pack of cigarettes before speaking, or had hardly spoken at all. That wasn't untrue, the creature knew that the one called Yule did not speak much. Not really, so perhaps it would not be too unusual. Misinformation and a bit of misdirection allowed Yule to remain in control of this situation for now. The shadow didn't really know what Yule was like. But the being who's attention it was supposed to draw in would just assume that humanity was infecting Yule at a greater pace. And that would bring upon it all of his scrutiny.

“I don't know what's happening anymore. Everything has gone crazy. What are we supposed to do?” Ah, yes. Comfort. Comfort was something humans shared. That was the reason for the touch, the bubbling bit of hysteria and worry. To seek comfort in others. Pathetic, the shadow thought. That was, after all, what was bringing about these insignificant creatures' destruction. They cared too much about one another. But the shadow figured it could use this to its advantage.
Liam Moore 09/21/19 Was sleeping
Sits up slightly holds out arms
"Come here then"
Liam Moore 09/17/19 Liam wrapped his arms around her and stroked her head.
"It will be okay, I promise"
Liam Moore 09/16/19 "It wasn't me, whoever was in the kitchen it's bad."
He watches her for a time before he stops her passing and cups her face in his hands.
"It's okay, it's gonna be okay. Remember what I said? No one is strong enough to take us down when we are together."
He would give her a reassuring smile.
Liam Moore 09/16/19 "Wen I wasn't in the kitchen today at all."
Is now beyond worried.
Start to look her over.
"He didn't hurt you did he? You are alright!?"
Jewel 09/16/19 Exactly.
-takes phone and quickly inserts her number & name-
Good code name. No one would guess that.
Mine will be red kool-aid.
-hands back phone-
-hands Wen her phone-
Liam Moore 09/16/19 "What do you mean Wen?"
Steps closer to her.
"You haven't done anything are you okay?"
Jewel 09/16/19 Oh..
-heavily sighs-

You have a phone?
We have to have a plan..
We need to be able to contact one another and know that it's us.

Jewel 09/16/19 -clings to-
Yeah.. I, uh..
Where's Liam?!
Bishop Orlav 09/16/19 Wen
When did he come in?
Stay away from anyone and everyone.
Communication via phone is the safest for now.
If anyone says anything to try and shake your mental state, know it is not them. Do you understand me?
Bishop Orlav 09/16/19 Wen
Wen, if I Jameson or I approach you, turn around and go the other way.
Got it?
Avoid us at all cost.
Jewel 09/16/19 -blinkblinks-
I think so. I'm really not sure.. People have me questioning my sanity.
-touches Wen to be sure-
-exhales heavily with relief-
If this is what happens when you're sober.. I have to think it's overrated.
Sh^t is going down..
Jewel 09/16/19 Wen?
Is that you?
Virelai Tylwyth 09/14/19 Yule grinned and grasped Wen's hand briefly with both her own. "Congratulations on PotD. It suits you to be on the cover."
Liam Moore 09/13/19
"Everything okay?"
Virelai Tylwyth 09/12/19 Ah, bliss. Yule tilted her head ever so slightly into the woman's hand, feeling the chill of those fingers mimic the ice within her. How long had it been since she had felt the willing touch of another's skin upon her own cold flesh? True enough, she had touched quite a few others, but she didn't count them when they were merely food for her ravenous appetite and fodder for her rage.

The mask tied to the upper half of her face shadowed the moss green depths of her eyes behind mesh, disguising whatever it was she may have been feeling at any give time. And yet the softening of her smile gave way to the small joy she felt, the feeling wrapping around her spine to coil in her abdomen, satisfying a different kind of craving so unlike the one for flesh and blood she was usually consumed by. There was nothing quite like those moments of connection, a lesson in kinship that beasts and spirits could not share or understand.

That touch was coupled with words of advice that Yule was more than happy to have. She lacked the finer points of what was sociably acceptable and anything that could assist her in navigating the intricacies of interaction – as human as they were, even among those who were Other – was something she valued greatly.

“I cannot express my appreciation for your advice.” She laughed softly, the sound a low hum in the back of her throat, much different from the silvery hysteria her voice usually held. “And I hope to stick around too, for as long as I am able to do so. After all. I went through a lot of trouble to get this body. And I intend to keep it for a while at least.” Yule stripped the glove from her icy hand and lifted it to cup the one that touched her face, squeezing softly, feeling the shift of muscle and bone beneath.

The touch was cold, so perhaps this one was one of the Night Children, those who rose with darkness and drank the blood of others to sustain themselves. Vampire they were called, creatures difficult for Yule to deal with given her history, and yet. This one had offered something without asking anything in return, much to her surprise, given that her interactions with them in the past led her to believe they were more interested in taking than giving. And so she could not find an ounce of the hatred that usually came when she was near them. Instead, she decided she quite liked this woman. And if she was any indication of how the others would be, perhaps it would be less difficult to live among them than she had imagined.

One could hope, at least.
Virelai Tylwyth 09/12/19 There was a very peculiar, cat-catching-a-bird energy to the woman's touch as her hand settled on Yule's shoulder. She could almost hear the word “Gotcha.” ringing in her ears. Yule tilted her head to the side and returned the woman's grin, lips pulling back in a sharp and mischievous smile, already anticipating the insurmountable amount of fun she was going to have here.

The woman was very pretty. And there was something familiar about the air around her, that strange too perfect gleam to the eyes and skin, the shin to the hair. She wondered what sort of creature had come to greet her. But they were all friends here and so the answer to that question could not matter.

Yule reached out, taking the casual touch as an invitation, and touched the woman's hair, feeling the silk slide through her fingers as her smile widened in turn. “Hello, Wen. My name is Yule.” She released the lock of hair and inhaled deeply. “I'm happy to be here. It's a pleasure to meet you.” The scent of blood was subtle, but she wasn't sure if that scent was coming from the woman before her or from herself. And again, it didn't matter. “What a lovely place this is. I am looking forward to meeting the rest of the group.”
Bishop Orlav 09/10/19
"What are you wearing, mon gros pois?"
Liam Moore 09/10/19
"I certainly didn't help any, but I thought you would never ask."
Liam Moore 09/10/19
"I'm sorry for breaking you."
Liam Moore 09/10/19
Jewel 09/09/19 It would seem that when you feel as if you've fell too far that perhaps you were the only one there. There, alone. It was frightening, saddening, and completely depressing. It even creates this bubble from which you become so self-centered to believe that you are the only to feel as such. It was a very selfish look into one self. Seemingly impossible for another to completely understand but there are. There are others out there dealing with the same feelings and sometimes for even worse reasons than your own but when you get so deep into yourself, it's hard to see anyone else.

Though, Wen's words rang true. It had connected to her more than the girl could possibly imagine. It was helpful and even warming. It would all be okay -- eventually. Sinking into her, their small forms almost became one beneath the weight of the blankets that surrounded them. Like a little fort they would dwell beneath. She sighed, for the first time in awhile, with content.

"You're right. I thank you." By the morning, she'd be gone. Leaving Liam and Wen to their usual days. Jewel would leave with a new outlook and friend. Hopefully with sometime and new perspective that her mindset would soon change. Perhaps she'd grow from the experience. No matter, she'd always be grateful to the beautiful Elowen for her words, her care, and her ability to relate.

Jack Horton 09/08/19 I do so very much hope dear Liam picks you to join him as he passes through the oncoming storm unscathed. It would be awful for him to choose another and show where his true loyalties lie. Let's hope he makes the right choice, shall we?
Liam Moore 09/08/19
Wakes up, looks at
Says nothing
Wraps arms around and goes back to sleep.
Melinoe 09/06/19 -out of habit, she curls her arm around the woman's-
-her gap makes an appearance as she giggles-
"Where are we going, Wen?"
Melinoe 09/06/19 -shakes her head, a slight pout is present-
"Li hasn't said anything about you Wen. I'm Mel."
-looks at the hand on her shoulder-
-copies the woman-
Melinoe 09/06/19 -blinks-
-slowly processes what is said-
-blinks again-
I can promise you that I have never peed the bed, miss.
Jewel 09/06/19 Already was enjoying Wen, immensely. More than she could know. She stood her ground and knew what she wanted and what was already hers. Jewel wasn't in the market to steal anyone from another, or taking over any spot on any furniture. Liam and Elowen were perfect for her -- a perfect friend duo. This might be her last night on Liam's bed but was hoping it wouldn't be her last interaction with Wen.

"It's nice to snuggle with you, Wen."

With a heavy sigh, she would slowly exhale out all of her reservations of exposing herself to someone she had just met but Wen brought on a comfort that none other had from her compound. Had honestly been avoiding most. Didn't have much connection with many of them, just a small handful. "I'm feeling.. lost. Fallen. Floating out there with no net."

Bishop Orlav 09/05/19 -squints-
"Ha Ha, very funny Elowen."
-gives a once over-
"What's wrong? How's your arm?"
Jewel 09/05/19 The truth was, Camille was dead. Her husband, Esper, was dead. Everyone was dead. It was a lot. They shared a spot together at Sine Metu headquarters and all she saw there was her past. Looking beyond had gotten harder and harder as time continued on. Needed a new view and under Liam's blankets seemed just about perfect for her. Jewel lifted the blankets as the girl slipped in beside her, she'd help drape them over her. Allowed the unknown woman to hold her. Needed a stranger's sympathy.

"One night. I promise."

Snugged up to the girl before offering up an introduction. "My name is Jewel, by the way. Yours?" Tossed the bagged treats aside. It was as if Liam was no longer in the room. Just the two of them. Liked it.

Jewel 09/05/19 Peers out from beneath the pile of blankets she has become. "I'm sorry, really.." Was, honestly. "I'm not here to take any spots, as if I could if I tried. I just.. --" Sighs. "..I need to look at something unfamiliar. From one person with a past to the next. Could you understand?" Pleaded with her.

"I have gummies." Pulls out two bags of bears. One bag was weed gummies.. the others were made with molly. "Camille had them before she.. left."

Liam Moore 09/04/19 Stares at the cast before looking back at her.
"What no! No one could ever take your spot! I'm not cuddling with her! I only cuddle with you!"
Reaches out to reassure her before looking at the cast and pulling his hand back.
"Wen...I'm sorry."
Was now the time for that probably not but it felt wrong not to say it.
Liam Moore 09/04/19 Be sure to RSVP to myself or Melinoe via message as soon as you can! We have a lot of fun activities planned and we would love to make this mixer as big as we can! I hope to see you there!
Geoffrey Drake 09/03/19 Congrats on PoTD.
Flahme 09/03/19 A thrill ran through Flahme as her new acquaintance boldly reached out and touched her face. She thought this was infinitely cool and immediately leaned into the touch, with a broad smile on her face. She wondered why the woman needed to do this, and of course, her curiosity rushed headlong out of her mouth.

"That was nice, Wen, but why did you do that? Is that how you get to know people?"

Flahme was fairly bouncing with excitement.
Flahme 09/03/19 Noticing a poster of a woman whose face was vaguely familiar, Flahme tries to think where she knows her from. She remembers, she saw the person at the bash at The Lycan's Den but never had a chance to meet her. Frowning as she returned from picking up an order at a coffee shop near Grand Central Station, Flahme noticed the same face in the crowd. Being bold, she walked up to the woman and cleared her throat.

"Hello, you may not remember me, but I saw you at The Lycan's Den. I'm guessing you're some sort of model. I'm Flahme," she smiled, then added. "From Sine Metu."

Holding coffees in both hands, she didn't have a hand spare to offer to shake, so offered the coffee instead.
Jameson Orlav 09/01/19 -watches her closely-
In many ways, I won't be able to help with that.
-narrows his eyes, just a bit-
It takes many of our kind centuries to get their lives sorted out, mládě. But... You have me.
-nods solemnly-
And Bishop. And everyone else within the confines of our tiny home.
Jameson Orlav 09/01/19 -squeezes her shoulder-
Elowen, you are part of our family.
However dysfunctional.
-tilts his head a little-
I will always help you. That is why you're here.
Bishop Orlav 09/01/19 Bishop had become attuned to Elowen's maneurisms especially when she had begun to spiral out of control. Self preservation above all else. Paranoia was a hard phantom to cope with, this he knew personally. A constant whisper in the ear to glance over your shoulder at every turn; to doubt anything and everything.

A werewolf on the premises was hardly a factor that could be ignored. Even with his brief stay there was sure to be issues. Still, he persisted with Elowen. She would not listen until she was grounded. Once she had finally returned to him he placed a cold hand against her cheek, wiping away any tears before accepting the embrace.

Few people were allowed within his bubble even amongst the coven members. Elowen was a special case. A hand would stroke her hair soothingly while he gave a soft hush. "You must have more faith in yourself, Elowen. You are far stronger than you give yourself credit." Pulling back so he may gaze into her eyes he gave her shoulder a soft squeeze once more. "That wolf is but a pup. Once the sun begins to rise, he will be gone and that will be it. For now, I want you to go spend time with Liam, hm? Find solace in his company."
Jameson Orlav 09/01/19 -he sighed, deeply-
Já vím, dítě. You're right. It is not your fault.
-shakes his head, places a hand upon Wen's shoulder-
Come. I can fix this for you.
We will figure out a plan for... Everything else later on.
Jameson Orlav 09/01/19 LIAM?
-starts to speak, but pauses-
Wait. Hold on. What do you mean you were out of control?
Liam let you feed on him?
-starts to step forward-
-deep, habitual breath-
I swear to God, I leave you alone for five minutes...
Jameson Orlav 09/01/19 -furrows brow-
-pokes at cast-
How the fvck did this happen?
Did someone hurt you?
-goes all crazy eyed-
I swear if anyone laid a hand on you...
Bishop Orlav 08/31/19 Elowen's reaction was warranted. When accepting the wolf boy into their home he had already accepted the outrage that would soon find him. While others would scrutinize his decision, Bishop felt it was the best course of action at the time.

Allowing Wen to go n her little tirade he stood there accepting any and all blame aimed his way. Slowly his hands reached up to grab her shoulders firmly; planting her where she stood."Breathe with me." His voice was gentle, yet stern. Slowly he would inhale an unneeded breath, then exhale at a similar pace. Rhythmically he would do this in an attempt to calm her. "I understand your concern. You are safe because I will not allow anything to happen to you. I am personally keeping watch on our unwelcomed guest."

Refusing to let her go until she calmed down he gave a reassuring squeeze to her shoulders. "No matter what, I would put myself before any danger that would come for you. This I swear."
Liam Moore 08/29/19 Burst into her room.
"Get dressed we are either going out to get Very drunk or murdering someone I have yet to decide."
Gray Taylor 08/28/19 He remembered her. The touchy woman with wild assumptions. Well, at least she is making progress. Not a word would be said by Gray, who instead opts for an icy greeting of silence.
Liam Moore 08/26/19 Recalls the last time he asked if she was okay and how that went.
"Yeah yeah always good to check in, I'm fine today."
Makes a face.
"Most days."
Liam Moore 08/26/19 He squeezed her back to the best of his ability, with her being on his back and all.
"I'm better than most days today, why do I not seem okay?"
Liam Moore 08/26/19 Stumbles slightly but once again catches his footing so they both don't go tumbling to the ground.
"Elowen hello it's always a pleasure. I missed you."
Bishop Orlav 08/24/19 "Well, we might need to cure that, mon gros pois."
-taps chin-
"We cannot have you eating the newbie. That would be rather unfortunate."
Liam Moore 08/23/19
Grumbles before scooting over.
"I'm the little spoon."
Bodhi Jones 08/23/19 "Hello, Elo," he answers, chuckling at the rhyme. Eyes drop from her face momentarily to glance at her hovering hand, and he cants his head to the side, curious. "I'm glad to see you in much better humor." And he means it; he'd been worried about her when she'd left off the other night, but not one to pry into others' affairs, hadn't felt it his place to check on her thereafter. "Do you want some tea or something?"
Liam Moore 08/22/19 "Overrated."
Moves towards his mini fridge because he was fancy and had one. Or liked to pretend he was fancy. Opening he pulled out a blood bag.
"Need this? It's B positive...think I have O as well."
"I had a night or two with a nurse had them steal these before you know I had to kill them."
He grew bored of them and well they knew he was a vampire so he couldn't let them live.
Liam Moore 08/22/19 "Uhhh"
Just tilts his head as he stares at her as she now on the floor from rolling out of his bed. The thought to ask if she was okay grossed his mind but he decided against it.
"Drugs are overrated, ask anyone they will tell you."
Liam Moore 08/22/19
"I am sure you could get clean love, if you wanted too! Obviously you don't have to. And I'm not here to judge."
Liam Moore 08/22/19 Frowns a little.
"That's pretty hardcore but I wont lecture you. I'm sure you know what you are doing. And well who hasn't had a drug problem."
Offers a small smile.
"I used to drain druggies in they were a juice box."
Liam Moore 08/22/19 Watches her before shaking his head and moving towards the bed he sits at the foot of it.
"Booze really doesn't help trust a man who's been using it as a way to escape reality for years."
He nibbles on his lip.
"Drugs? Like weed or are you doing harder stuff?"
Liam Moore 08/22/19
"Oh please do make yourself comfortable."
Shakes his head.
"There are far worse things you could have done. Far worse has been done to me so please no need to apologize."
Liam Moore 08/22/19 Is surprised by the shove, eyes follower as she paces. Remains silent as she practically rips his head off.
"You know it's alright to not be okay? I'm not okay most days. I am a murder, and I'm dead."
Takes a step closer to her.
"Elowen while I know you are okay, I never ever want you to pretend you aren't with me. Be a mess, be a disaster be whatever the fck you want."
Offers her a small smile.
"However I probably should head back to my room would hate to upset you anymore. If you need me you'll know where to find me."
Bishop Orlav 08/22/19 -nods-
"Well, it is my job to help you sort out this mess. I can only work with what you give me, but I am here."
Bishop Orlav 08/22/19 -nods-
"We can go home. And you can sleep. However, I want you to try not to fall into the pit, hm? When you wake up, remember what is on the other side of your door."
-presses a soft kiss to her head-
"People who are glad you are around. And people willing to assist you in your endeavors."
Bishop Orlav 08/21/19 -rubs her back-
"It will feel better once you let it out, my dear."
-has taken to the fatherly role rather well-
"We will figure it out, hm? One step at a time."
Bishop Orlav 08/21/19 -embraces her-
-gives a gentle rub to her arm-
"Because, the mind is a fickle thing. The more you suppress, the more it bubbles over. Alcohol doesn't help much."
-looks down at her-
"Whatever you are feeling, you are no insane for feeling it. As a survivor, you have endured atrocities none should have to."
Bishop Orlav 08/21/19 "I agree. I prefer you here with me and not in the ground."
-gestures she come close-
Bishop Orlav 08/21/19 -squints-
"Are you drunk as well?"
-has a bit of a grin-
Liam Moore 08/21/19 Furrows brows in confusion.
"I have been in my room all day today! Was...reading."
Yeah that sounded believable.
"You alright Elowen? You seem off.
Liam Moore 08/21/19 Wraps his arms around her and hugs back.
"Whatever do you mean I don't recall going anywhere!"
Jameson Orlav 08/21/19 -squints-
-eyes both the arms-
-back and forth then back and forth...-

What if I accidentally crush you?
Liam Moore 08/21/19
"You are out of control and I love it. Though you have a mean swat on you."
Rubs his abused cheek.
"Oh so rude of me."
Smacks her ass back.
Jameson Orlav 08/21/19 -huffs-
-throws hands in the air-
Um, ow, Wen!!!
Liam Moore 08/20/19 Stumbles only slightly before he catches himself, a laugh escapes him before he slides his arms under her legs hosting her up farther on his back. "I dare say you are very lucky I happen to excel at reeking havoc. I do hope you do as well, I've been disappointed too much recently. It would simply break my heart if you did it too."
Bishop Orlav 08/19/19 -sees the desire in her eyes-
-sighs in defeat-
-turns around-
-gestures she get on-
"Let us be off."
Bishop Orlav 08/19/19 -blinks-
-opens mouth-
-realizes she's not wrong-
"Okay, just take a shower after then?"
Bishop Orlav 08/19/19 "Ah, yes, well."
-takes her hands in his own-
"Make good decisions. And don't sleep with any of the Den members. You'll get fleas."
Bishop Orlav 08/13/19 -wrinkles nose-
I'd rather not have the taste of disappointment in my mouth before I eat. You are free to do as you wish, though.
"I will get the runners."
Bishop Orlav 08/13/19 -readjusts clothing-
-offers arm loop-
"I know of a place full of fit young men for consumption. Shall we be off?"
Liam Moore 08/12/19 Liam watched her hand slide up his chest, tensed when the tattoo was touched. Brown hues looked back to her face only when she finished speaking. His hand reached up and grasped hers simply holding it. "Nothing wrong with being predictable, I prefer when people have all their cards on the table less surprises that way."
Bishop Orlav 08/12/19 -slowly starts to relax-
"A hunt you say?"
"I am a bit peckish. Why not?"
Bishop Orlav 08/12/19 -freezes at the lick-
-is in pure disgust-
-takes all of his willpower not to roundhouse kick her-
-helps support her despite the cringe-
"Greetings, mon gros pois. How are you fairing?"
Liam Moore 08/12/19 Looks down at her hand on his chest and just shakes his head.
"Why am I not surprised to hear that dear?"
Liam Moore 08/12/19 "Lucky for you I intend to do just that."
Liam Moore 08/12/19 "Do you though? I mean the whole point of the game was the ink though. Are you changing the game now?" Crosses arms over his chest.
"I'm not sure I like that"
Liam Moore 08/12/19 "As fun as that sounds, didn't you tell me earlier you didn't have any ink?"
"Get some and maybe get a few drinks into me and we can play that game."
Liam Moore 08/12/19 "Yeah well I suppose that makes two of us."
"It's not all so bad, some places hurt more than others. I actually have a few but we aren't gonna dive into that."
Liam Moore 08/12/19 Stares at wide eyed.
"Yeah not one of my smartest moves, but hey we were all young and stupid once right?"
Liam Moore 08/12/19
"Uhhh no not there though it probably would have been better there. It's the giant thing on my neck."
Pokes back.
"Pleasure to make your acquaintance I think."
Liam Moore 08/12/19 Lets out a sigh of relief.
"Oh thank god! Murder I can do! Let's just not bring up the matching tattoo thing ever."
"I'm Liam by the way."
Liam Moore 08/12/19 "I mean it's not that I'm a no toucher, just ya know not randomly and with someone I don't really know."
Looks very concerned.
"What do you mean? No one said anything about a cult, we don't have to get matching tattoos do we? I did that once wasn't great. Really don't recommend."
Liam Moore 08/12/19 Pulls back, stares at.
What do you mean cult? I totally heard the word cult.
And why are you touching my face?
I don't know where those hands have been.
Andy Codin 08/09/19 You're quite welcome
Andy Codin 08/09/19 Congratulations on ranking up. You've shown us all how it should be done
Bodhi Jones 08/09/19 Thick brows furrow over a considerate gaze, even as it narrows in contemplation as she speaks. There is a darkness within her, clawing at her psyche and raking coals over her consciousness, the result leaving her apparently rattled. He could suggest perhaps the binges she clearly goes on might be the culprit, but it isn't his place, and she might not react so kindly.

"You're here now," is all he will say, "and I can assure you it's real."

Her hand rests on his cheek as if she commits his face to the memory of his name and its meaning. Bodhi won't draw away, though the touch leaves him with a marked sense of foreboding. She is adamant that she isn't a bad person, and the man is not one to argue... or agree. Again, it's simply not his place to judge in any capacity. "Rest, Elowen," he reasserts with a ghost of his usual grin. "Don't let the demons win."
Bodhi Jones 08/09/19 Her approach is announced long before her arrival is imminent, and Bodhi rises from the floor in a very fluid, cat-like motion. Any that paid witness to it might have been surprised, as he seems very languid in his usual movements, but meditation leaves him spry and relaxed, and his body thanks him for it. The soothing music is turned down, the chiming of bells dulled to a gentle ringing in the background, and he turns to greet Elowen amidst a cloud of incense, donning his signature smile.

She collapses into him and both hands rest gently on her upperarms, steadyingly. Three times she says his name, and he wonders humorously if she is trying to summon him. Alas, no, she seems to be poking fun, and he cants his head to the side, laughing softly. "It's a Hindu name, it means awakened, or enlightened." But she doesn't care, so set on her mission, and Bodhi plants his feet and becomes a stone in her grasp. "Maybe you should rest," he asserts gently, considering her rather disheveled state. "Besides, I don't drink or anything, so I can't imagine how fun I'd be."
EtaineNightBreed 08/08/19 Well done on your new rank!
Shadwyn Drake 08/08/19 Congrats on ranking!
Bishop Orlav 08/08/19 "We should get a bite to eat together some time. I can show you a few tricks for maximum gore, and minimum clean up."
Bishop Orlav 08/08/19 -nods along-
"Ah, yes, I am the same. If I am not coated in their blood I am not satisfied."
-pulls out list from pocket-
"Should help with most clothing. Not corduroy. But, really, corduroy is hideous as it is so the blood might be an improvement."
Bishop Orlav 08/08/19 -gives a stiff nod-
-is not used to this-
-returns hands to pockets-
"So, uh, Jameson said you had issues with getting your clothing stained. As a messy eater, I understand."
-looks off to the distance-
"In my years I have developed a cleaner just for blood stains... I can supply you with ingredients if you want."
Jameson Orlav 08/08/19 Bishop is a far more patient man than I.
-raises a brow-
People aren’t usually too keen on having their butts smacked.
-grumbles a little-
Unless the occasion warrants it.
Bishop Orlav 08/08/19 "For a long time I made it so I was never seen. I liked it that way. No work needed if nobody ever saw you."
-takes her hand-
"Now, I suppose I don't mind it. That arms distance continues to close a little more."
-places both hands on hers as a show of comfort-
"You have someone. A few someones, now."
Bishop Orlav 08/08/19 -inhales-
"A lot of us are on edge most of the time."
-purses lips-
"Yeah, when you spend most of your life keeping others at arms distance it's uncomfortable to have them so close."
"Just, maybe, give me a heads up before hand. Then I will be more receptive."
Bishop Orlav 08/08/19 -watches her-
-reaches out arms-
-gives a distant hug-
-immediately retracts arms-
"It is alright. I am learning to become less...frigid."
Jameson Orlav 08/08/19 -surprised gasp-
What the—
-grabs arm, growls a little-
Hands off the goods, kiddo. I get a little testy when people get feelsy before buying me dinner.
Bishop Orlav 08/08/19 "He touches me plenty."
-eyes go wide-
-clears throat-
"Ignore that. I am just... not used to friendly contact, is all. Being touched has never been my favorite. Jameson being the obvious exception."
Bishop Orlav 08/08/19 "You flatter me, mon gros pois."
-jumps a bit-
-looks surprised-
Bishop Orlav 08/08/19 "Really? I was scared it would make my @ss look fat."
Bishop Orlav 08/07/19 -regrets everything-
-stiffens at the sudden hug-
-is dragged away-
"Fresh, always fresh."
Bodhi Jones 08/07/19 Demons flit across the woman's face, seemingly brought on by his indelicacy. "Uh," he begins, but nothing suitable really comes to mind, so he falters into a state of silence. Whatever conclusion she manages to come to has him relaxing appreciatively, though he does shake his head.

"That's kind of you, but you're more than welcome to join me in my silent observation anytime. I'm boring, not unfriendly."
Jameson Orlav 08/07/19 -crinkles nose-
Tequila, bleh.
You'll find whisky and gin in my cabinet, but that's all I can offer.
Check Gray Taylor's room.
Gray Taylor 08/06/19 Gray couldn’t quite believe his ears. Staring down at the woman, he quirks a brow as she ambles on. “Quite the opposite,” he mutters, equal parts amused and concerned. Concerned for his own safety, at least. And Bodhi’s. He’d heard the man could be found here, and now he rather wonders at the information. “Do many murderers you know make themselves so known?”
Bishop Orlav 08/06/19 "Yes, that could be a hassle. However, when it works, it works. I don't know how to explain it."
-goes for another taste-
-tosses it over shoulder-
"Hmmm I think Jameson has some tequila I could borrow. Why not? I'm feeling adventurous."
Bishop Orlav 08/06/19 "Madness seems to be a quality most have these days, non? "
"I hardly think that will deter suitors."
--drinks a slushee-
-wrinkles nose-
"Ick, disgusting. How can humans drink this?"
Gray Taylor 08/06/19 “Hm,” he would let out a quiet hum of dissatisfaction. A stormy, perhaps even disappointed, gaze would glance about before looking at the woman once more. “If you do, let him know Gray is looking for him.”
Bishop Orlav 08/06/19 -watches her-
"I wouldn't be so sure. I thought that as well, look at me now."
-wrinkles nose-
-shakes head-
"This one is of my own collection. I made my point last time.
Bishop Orlav 08/06/19 -offers a bottle-
"Enjoying the new eye candy, gros pois?"
-arches a brow-
Gray Taylor 08/06/19 Gray stares. He stares in an unsettling way. A hand touches to his chest, and the man noticeably stiffens before lifting his own to pluck it from him. Without missing a beat, an obnoxiously charming smile quirks at his lips. “Have you seen Mr. Jones, recently?”
Jameson Orlav 08/06/19 He grinned, "There is a trick." Jameson quipped. "Eat fast. Stop paying so much attention to the corpse in your arms." The vampire offered a little tip of his head. "They are, after all, merely a means for feasting." And he waves a hand. "That is what you meant, yes?"
Bodhi Jones 08/06/19 The fact is, Bodhi lives anything but a boring life, though not by his choice. He is an enforcer, of a sort, to a force that is unseen and all powerful. And, truthfully, it's exhausting, something made all the more apparent by the bags under his eyes and the yawn he suppresses, even now. Still, you'd be hard-pressed to find him in a state of negativity; he just doesn't have it in him, and thank goodness for that.

"Oh, I don't get bored. I just tend to be rather... mundane to most. That's all." Thank goodness for that, too. "You can think of me as the silent observer. Or at least, that's what I'll maintain until forced otherwise." He passes her a wink, but has no way of knowing if she even noticed, as enticed with her own fingernails as she is.
Bodhi Jones 08/05/19 Consider me thoroughly welcomed.
Though I can't promise you won't get bored of running into me.
I lead a rather dull existence, if I do say so myself.
puffs up, seemingly proud
Bodhi Jones 08/05/19 Hallo, then.

Fancy meeting you here.
Bishop Orlav 07/30/19 -allows her to finish his snacks-
-may have planned this-
"Thank you. She really is not so bad. Teach her a thing or two. Take her out on the town sometime. Soon she will warm up to you."
Bishop Orlav 07/30/19 "She is not used to you, Wen. Remember how you felt when everything was overwhelming? When you felt crowded, scared?"
-licks another finger-
"That is her mindset. It would mean a lot to me if you were patient with her, gros pois."
-glances at her-
"She is new to all of this."
Bishop Orlav 07/30/19 -licks blood off of fingers-
"Give her a chance, gros pois. She is but a child. Why, I believe we are her first opportunity at recreational social interaction."
-clicks tongue-
"Why, what happened?"
Bishop Orlav 07/30/19
-realizes how drunk she is-
"You know, I think we have capes back at the coven."
-leads her-
"Let's go find you one."
Bishop Orlav 07/30/19 -watches-
-is mildly amused-
"Yes, yes, we tremble in fear of your greatness."
-reaches out-
"Up you go, Big Pea."
Bishop Orlav 07/30/19 -deadpans-
"That escalated quickly."
"Women are not typically my flavor of fun but with enough wine, maybe. I will keep your offer in mind."
"Big pea. Not fat. Graisse means fat."
Bishop Orlav 07/30/19 -takes a quick drink-
-looks disgusted-
-passes it back-
"I do believe it's a full on fetish."
-recalls a specific night-
-clears throat-
"I have been called worse so I suppose I am fine with it, gros pois."
Bishop Orlav 07/30/19 -snorts-
"I think he'd like me cooked rare. He likes them bloody."
-finds himself amusing-
-arches a finely groomed brow-
"I haven't been called that since I was a child some sixty five years ago."
-reaches out hand-
-wants a swig-
Bishop Orlav 07/30/19 -eye twitch-
"Dear Elowen, I would rather you gouge out my eyes and set me ablaze than call me that."
"Bishop will suffice."
Bishop Orlav 07/30/19 -stares at-
-offers bottle-
"Straight from Jameson's stash. If he asks, you got it from me."
Jameson Orlav 07/30/19 Who keeps giving you alcohol!!
Bishop Orlav 07/22/19 "I could say the same about you."
"I haven't a clue. She simply decided to stalk me. And is very blatant about it."
Jameson Orlav 07/19/19 *grins*
Tell me you didn't break into my stash?
Bishop Orlav 07/18/19 "Unfortunately. She's not very stealthy, either."
-crosses arms-
"And who are you?"
Bishop Orlav 07/17/19 -side eyes-
-arches a brow-
"You're not going to stalk me as well, are you?"
Jameson Orlav 07/15/19 That... Is so rude. I can be a panda if I want to be a panda.
Jameson Orlav 07/15/19
