Noura Orlav 10/14/17 Noura has hit a sore spot, and she can tell. Still, she listens to him intently, dark hues searching his face as he brings himself to her level. As f-cked up as it is, he is telling her the truth... even if he is getting borderline biblical. And then he poses his question.

There is a short amount of time in which she has to answer, mere seconds, if that. Cole would be ruthless, but she is angry, and it paints her rationality red. "Ano."

Stepping forward, she manages to slide his arm behind her in the process as her own hands come up to cup his face. A soft kiss is pressed upon the man before she rests her forehead against his. "I love you too, Cole." There is a moments pause as she takes in the moment before she speaks again. "Jameson can wait. Let's go get you out of this uniform."

Later. Later, she can ask him about how he discarded the item upon her hand. But not now.
Noura Orlav 10/13/17 Noura had already had serious qualms about this. It hadn't been brought up to her before, she had not been consulted, and it seems to be a never ending issue. She is displeased. Cole is being honest of his thoughts, and it causes her to roll her shoulders in discomfort. She had been left her in a potentially dangerous position, making it clear where she stood on the list of priorities for the other man. She would never forget that.

"I don't have unfinished business." This is not a statement of insistence, but instead something clear cut. And while he says Oliver is dead, she does not quite believe him. But she wants to, and thus, she does.

Frowning, she lifts a hand to guide a stray hair off her face before letting her forearm rest crossed over her abdomen. What else does she hide? "...Sometimes, I wonder if you still love me, or if you love the idea of what I was."
Noura Orlav 10/10/17 "I know, I know," she attempts to calm him, speaking quietly as he talks. But then, he asks his question, and Noura lifts her gaze to meet his as they step out through the sliding doors and into the evening air. A resentful glare meets his glaciers, there is no hiding her irritation at his omission.

"I knew it." Her fist bunches around the fabric of his jacket. Why even bother giving her his subtle hints when he was going to outright admit he'd been watching her every move. Sighing, she shakes her head gently. "Married to Elouise because she is f-cking insane and has to drag everyone down with her."

It is fairly clear that she is not amused, though the cause is both men. Once again, she has been left in the dust - a trend she is not fond of. Another sigh escapes her, shorter than the first and more akin to a huff than anything else. Stopping them in their tracks, she faces him and meets his eyes easily.

"I am married to you. I said yes to you. You are clearly up to something, Cole Ward, but I still said yes. Understand? You are my husband." Raising a brow, she decides to throw her own question after making her clearcut statement on loyalties. "How is Oliver?"
Noura Orlav 10/09/17 “I don’t really know why. I think he just likes Ella.” Noura doesn’t get it. The connection isn’t there, and she can’t figure it out for the life of her. Ella is her friend, but housing a coven within a sanctuary is borderline insane. Frowning slightly, she shakes her head. “Jameson doesn’t listen to me. You know that...”

If he did, none of them would be feeding off the living. They would be in Warsaw, still living as they were meant to. No. She hasn’t tried to tell her brother how she felt, and never intended. She would visit, but never stay.

“Okay,” she murmurs. Noura slips her cool hand into his, starting to walk him through the airport. Chewing at her lip, she considers everything. Noura glances up at Cole silently before hugging his middle as they walk; a silently communicated thanks. “Just take it easy on him,” she doesn’t mean it.
Noura Orlav 10/09/17 Despite the deceit between them, they are still honest to a point. Cole's searching gaze upon her causing her to shift uncomfortably, and Noura glances left before looking at him once more. "I haven't been... I'm not comfortable there. Ella is great. Jameson is... Jameson. But all those strangers? Enemies? I just don't like the thought of waking up with a stake in my heart..."

Which is, actually, true. Outside of her meeting with Jason, Noura had made the executive decision not to sleep with the unknown enemy. She isn't even comfortable with Jameson staying there. Then, his insistence. Pressing her lips together momentarily, she then releases a sigh.

"If you want to go, of course. We'll meet him." She hates working with a group like this. Eating, as she is, is still very private to her. There is no sport to it. Noura hadn't set out to become a vampire, she'd only wanted to stop what she saw as a needless genocide. "It just...worries me. All of it."
Noura Orlav 10/01/17 "Don't think that's the word..." she mumbles, trying her best not to laugh. In all the time Cole spent around them, he has always seemed to refuse perfecting his English. What he has is good enough for him, and them. This thing they are doing, however, is like a bad game of chess. Cole never reciprocated her touches in public before. Not unless it was a special occasion.

It's when he tells her that nothing in Moscow can follow them that she meets his gaze, her tongue flicking over her bottom lip as the wheels start turning. She decides to let it go.

"Also true," she smirks. This level of intimacy, in public, from him is bizarre. Her fingertips graze over the stubble along his jaw and she nudges his nose with her own. "I missed you every minute of every day..." Which isn't a complete lie, since she has missed the Cole she knew in Warsaw since he died.

"Jameson hasn't really come out of the basement though... he did invite us out for dinner. I didn't really give him an answer." Noura is half hoping that he will decide to go himself, and leave her behind. It's no secret that she prefers to do things alone.
Jameson Orlav 10/01/17 Cole
You've arrived. Welcome to New Orleans. Prepare for the hunt, kolega. We move out at dusk.
Noura Orlav 10/01/17 "Protocol, huh? I can't lie, I'm glad." Noura gives him a grin, and forces it to remain as he calls her out. Yea. She had failed to do those things. A wife would have, and she didn't. Why? Because reasons. "I could say the same about you."

Laced within her own words, Noura acknowledges his surveillance. That means he knows about her visit with Jason. "Must have been pretty busy out there, huh?"

Such a dance they are committed to, both incapable of trusting the other. Equally, both are obviously in this to keep the other close. Still, she brings her arms down to smooth the shoulders and collar of his jacket approvingly. "I always did love this uniform," as if to cement her words, she leans up and locks her lips with his. It's not foreign to them. This is something they've done a thousand times before, in life. The only difference now is that they're dead.

"Did you miss me?" Come on, Cole. She's daring you.
Noura Orlav 10/01/17 F-ck. Cole is here, and Noura is no longer nearly as free to move. The first thing she does is collect her things and go to the front desk of her hotel, requesting a second room on the top most floor. After making the new room look more lived in, she makes her way to the airport by way of taxi. Along the way, she prepares herself to do better.

She pays the cabbie handsomely, requesting he remain parked while she goes in to collect her husband. This would go better than the last time he saw her, she tell herself.

Upon setting her sights on Cole, a smile takes residence and she steps right up to him to wrap her arms around him in a tight hug. "It's about time," she leans back to peer up at him with playfully narrowed eyes. "I was beginning to think you'd changed your mind."
Noura Orlav 10/01/17 Cole
Why didn't you tell me you were landing?
Hang tight. I'll come get you.
What terminal?
Jameson Orlav 09/17/17
Noura Orlav 08/24/17 Cole
Come on. Where are you?
You should have been back by now.
Noura Orlav 08/17/17 Cole
Meet me at 2300.

Noura Orlav 07/10/17 Cole
Door is unlocked.
Noura Orlav 07/10/17 Cole
Right where you left me.
Where do I need to be?
Noura Orlav 07/07/17 Cole
Jameson is MIA. Where are you?
Noura Orlav 05/30/17 Cole
Don't have popcorn. Still a date.
When are you coming back?
What about Ollie? I need eyes on him.
Noura Orlav 05/30/17 Cole
I don't remember him ever crying before.
Has he ever cried?
He might now. I sent it with a note.
Noura Orlav 05/30/17 Cole
How mad do you think he'll be? Annoyed? Furious? Will I be disowned?
Noura Orlav 05/29/17 Cole
I killed someone.
And sent their finger to Jameson.
The middle one.
Spring Taylor 05/26/17 Oi. Who the f-ck are you? You don't smell like a f-cking jew.
Noura Orlav 05/19/17 Shaking her head, at Cole's response, she swallows. A trap. Could it be a trap? Couldn't everything be a trap? This is real. She knows it. The tone of the Order's mail was clear. There would be no questioning it.

A whimper escapes her as she holds back fearful tears. One by one, everyone is coming back. She'd popped up on Jameson, and then Cole on the both of them. It had redefined everything she knew, and was arguably one of the happiest days of her life. And now Ollie.

He could ruin everything.

It's real. Be careful. I'll be here.
Noura Orlav 05/19/17 Noura reads the message once. Twice. Three times. It's clear as day. Swallowing, she turns off her phone and picks up the burner. She knows Cole is in a meeting, but this feels urgent, perhaps more for her as she feels dread and panic build up. The shack feels smaller, like the walls are closing in. She decides to alert him regardless. He'd know before he got back, and that is what matters most.

I just got word that Oliver is at the compound.
Noura Orlav 05/01/17 Her nose scrunches up as he carries on, making a clear show of her disdain for it all. What has happened to him? Before her stands the same Cole, and yet he is completely changed. "I'm not going to leave you."

That is about when it strikes her. This whole ordeal is going to put her and Jason at odds in the worst way. Her gaze flickers away as she tucks the thought back into the recesses of her mind, leaving it to haunt her nightmares later.

"Žiji tam. To je můj domov. Mám tam přátele. You can't burn the world down, Cole. You'd only hate yourself for it." Standing, she steps up to him and reaches up to cradle his face in her hands. "I know you still care."
Noura Orlav 05/01/17 "I lit a Christmas tree on fire to get Jameson's attention," the amusement of that memory is gone quickly. "He shouldn't be involved. I also hear he's a Jew, but I don't get what the big deal is. And I would do just about anything if you agreed to talk this all out with Jameson."

Dropping the notebook to the floor, she leans forward where she sits and looks up at him, pleading. "Please, Cole. This is scary."
Noura Orlav 04/30/17 Noura looks up from her notebook, having written down each and every way they could go about the obvious issue. "I still like the whole 'sit down and talk about it' option... a lot less messy. Yelling. Fighting with words. Yes?"
Elouise Warrock 04/29/17 Encryption successful.
Charge extra? No. I just made him put a ring on it first.
You won't need to give any permission. None of Jameson's subjects too. It's more fun to drive a hacksaw through tensed muscle, anyway. More blood, more effort, more fun.

3 months after we eloped?
So, not long, thanks for asking! :)
I so look forward to stripping the muscles and tendons from your bones.

Go f*ck yourself.
I can't wait for Jameson to string your pathetic ass up.
Noura Orlav 04/29/17 She gets it. His words, the look on his face, the way he reassures only her, Noura understands now. It echoes over her features as she casts her gaze downward, mulling it over carefully. Cole might have just reinvented that night in Poland. She feels she doesn't need to state the obvious, that her own husband is in there. Actually, Noura decides against bringing it up. Instead, resolve takes over as she brings her gaze up to his face once more.

"What will happen when this is all over?" Their phones demand attention. Annoyed, she casts a glare in their direction before leaning to pick up her own only to see Elouise flashing on both. One read over, and she scoffs. "Ignore her. It's a trap. I know how she operates. She isn't nearly as clever as she thinks."

Expert digits move over the keyboard before ultimately, she drops her phone on the cushion beside her. Her other hand lifts, and in some strange contortion she manages to duck under his arm and tuck herself into his side. "I miss your heartbeat."
Noura Orlav 04/28/17 She stares. She stares really, really hard as she processes what he just said. Cole is talking as if this is no big deal. Unlocking random things in the lab is just... nothing. But Noura knows what is in the lab, and her heart plummets into her stomach at the thought.

She reaches for his hand, intent to put aside their game and focus on the discussion in order to connect with him. She licks her lips as she carefully considers, her other hand moving to his rest upon his upper arm. "There are dangerous things in there. Jameson could get hurt. Other people could get hurt."

Where the f*ck are you, then?
Let's have it out.
Noura Orlav 04/28/17 "You really shouldn't call her a prostitute, Cole..." Noura muses as she watches his expression with a please grin. She wastes no time in writing down her score while he grumbles away. "I don't cheat. I just have mad skill."

Eyeballing his role, she side eyes him with a wicked smirk. "Small straight? That the best you can do?" Sitting back, she watches him. It's a thing, now. She rarely looks away. Probably because, ya know, he came back from the dead. "What do you mean, poke him in the base?"
Noura Orlav 04/28/17 Noura scowls at her phone, dropping it upon the table before her, angry messages on display as she waits for more. "I think he wants to kill me more, now." Leaning, she bumps Cole's shoulder with her own before shaking the cup of dice and letting them fly over the table. "...nice. Full house."

Absolutely, she is raising the roof.
Noura Orlav 04/28/17 Thank. God. Had he left her hanging, literally and figuratively, it would have been the most silently embarrassing and ruining moment ever in the history of their companionship. A hug. She'd wanted to the day before, though she hadn't known his intentions. And then it got awkward. And now, with everything out in the open? She would have her damn hug.

And she listens, poised in interest as he begins to air his concerns over her decision. But when he calls Jason an aardvark, she can't help the humph of amusement that escapes her. He can't see it, but there's a smile there.

"He'll be fine so long as he knows I'm safe," Noura doubts she needs to explain that this does mean she will need to keep an open line of communication to her dino counterpart. With that, she firms up her hold as if affirming her decision. "It's Jameson that is going to be the one to worry about. The minute he finds out, our window gets cut short."
Noura Orlav 04/27/17 She nearly winces at the sound of her name. It's unexpected, and despite the warmth in his tone while addressing her, feels cold and hard like a brick wall being built between them. Noura tore his insides out, and Cole twisted and wrangled her heart with a single word.

"You were his best friend. He trusted you more than me. Did he stop before pulling the trigger, Cole? Did he try to help you?" It's obvious that she's angry at Jameson, doubly so as time goes on since Cole's reappearance. "Why did you stay away for so long? Why didn't you try to find me? Why now?"

So. Many. Questions. Hard ones, too. And yet, she doesn't bother answering his because honestly - she doesn't know what Jason would do. Who would it be? Her, or his pregnant sister-in-law? Her frown deepens, becoming a borderline pout, and her gaze flickers over him. "Každý den, jsem truchlil."
Noura Orlav 04/27/17 Noura had wised up, turning off her cell phone the minute she got off Jameson's property. Before, she had crept out. This time, she brazenly walked out the front doors. Unlike last time, she'd took precautions, covering her tracks on the way there. There was only one thing she couldn't hide, and that is her scent.

Hearing his voice, she quickens her step, walking into the light with her hands in view and her phone completely tucked away, useless.

"I asked him why he didn't shoot me when I turned up again," Noura frowns, slowly approaching his direction, "He wouldn't give me a real answer. He says you're trying to get inside my head.."
Noura Orlav 04/27/17 Cole

Jason is so angry. I don't know what to think right now. You reminded me of so many things I left unspoken.
Jameson Orlav 04/27/17 Jameson hits the button on the transceiver, sending along the surveillance footage to Coles device.

A voice would come over the communication speaker in the lab. Cole would be hard pressed to miss it.

"I see you, Bratr. Hold tight, I am coming for you. If you get lonely... check the cells. Who knows what's still alive down there."
Noura Orlav 04/27/17 Cole

"Those numbers you're reading are your ordinates. I am not your progeny. I am not a grunt. Understand what you're getting yourself into, Cole. I'll give you one chance to alleviate the situation at hand. Think about what you're doing. Meet me, or begin your preparation. You know how this will end."

.... end transmission...
Noura Orlav 04/27/17 Cole
You were right.
Noura Orlav 04/26/17 Noura's steady gaze dropped with his hand, knowing full well the gravity of her admission. It takes seconds for the will to move to kick in, and when it does she merely crosses her arms if only to self-soothe. I hope you're happy.

The rueful look she gives him tells tale of dangerous doubts creeping into her mind, and perhaps even those deep seated issues she's had that have been left unspoken for as long as she has been back in her brother's presence. Opportunity for Cole, really. She gives him a slight nod.

"We are dead... and I'm going to make that up to you, Cole." Stress is wearing down on her, and it's showing. Pressure builds as her throat closes in upset, and Noura works to keep her emotions in check.

"I'll text you soon."
Noura Orlav 04/26/17 She can see that flash of something in his eye, but can't read him. Not anymore. Noura is about to answer him when her phone chimes, and she quickly shuts her mouth as she stares at the screen, frustrated.

She glances up at Cole before responding, not bothering to hide the screen. Transparency and trust is her gift to him. Once sent, she pockets the phone and looks up at him, lifting a hand to rest over his and effectively hold it in place. But the act is also grounding.

"It's not that easy... I can't leave like that. Jameson is finally starting to trust me again, and Jason. Cole, I'm married."

Now she's nervous. And stressed. Very much. "I thought you were dead..."
Noura Orlav 04/26/17 "Cole..."

A relieved smile appears as she appraises him, glancing over him quickly before meeting his eye. Ugh. That smile disappears, and she fidgets where she stands, fingers tugging at the cuff of her sleeve as she hesitates. "I missed you too..."

Noura takes a slow, careful step forward. She doesn't really know what to expect right now, to be fair. "No new holes, no. You really upset everyone back home by shooting her... are you okay? Are you staying somewhere safe?"
Jameson Orlav 04/26/17 Cole
Your god damn guts were hanging out of your body. Myslíš to vážně? Would you have hand me leave you to suffer? And Lise? Would I not have spared but her life if I had a choice? Fvck you, Cole. You don't get to do this. Crawl out from behind these messages. Accuse me to my face. Let us hear what you have to say for yourself.
Noura Orlav 04/26/17 F*ck Moscow. The city reeks, and the political climate is sh*t. Luckily enough, overcast skies bring on a light rain, enabling Noura to sneak out of The Order using skills she hasn't exercised since Poland. It really felt like old times. It's frightening, actually, and the sensation isn't lost on her.

Cole means a lot of things. A lot of scary, serious things.

When she steps into designated location, a storage warehouse in the outskirts of the city off a gravel road, she pulls her hood of her sweatshirt down and looks around carefully. One step. Two steps. She checks her phone, noting the time. She's early.

Waiting for his grand entrance, she nervously begins to wander the immediate area, taking in each and every detail she can. At least then, Jameson could only call her partly stupid.
Jameson Orlav 04/26/17 Cole
You don't have any idea what you're talking about. Just like you to shoot first and ask questions later. OUR protocols were meant to keep my team alive. Why don't you ask Noura about that, bratr.

I'm telling Jameson. He'll out-Czech your ass.
Elouise Warrock 04/26/17 Trick question, I don't date men.
Are you like, an Uber driver?
... Are you friends with my husband?
Autumn Summers 04/26/17 I have no idea what that means, but you're not attacking me, so I assume it's a good thing. Cheers.
Elouise Warrock 04/26/17 ... You look familiar. Did we date?
Autumn Summers 04/26/17 Welcome to the realm.
