"No. I do understand." He shook his head in disbelief. "I understand things are so different now you wouldn't leave a man for dead?" His brown eyes narrowed on Kayla. No good would come from this conversation if it was continued. He could see this was one cause he'd have to give up on. She wouldn't see what she'd done wrong.
"You didn't even have the courage to tell my sister what you did. You ran and hid like a coward." The features on his face revealed his disgust. "You shot me and left me like a dog. If Neva hadn't found me I would be dead now. I think it's you who doesn't understand what you've done Kayla." The grin had long since left his face and a sneer remained in it's place. He couldn't believe her nerve or her lies. |

"Surprised to see me Ella? Or is Madison?" A smirk snaked over his mouth until he was grinning. He could decipher from her movements she was uncomfortable. He wouldn't pretend not to enjoy it, it was a small price to pay. "What name are you going by now? I should know what to call you." Taking a couple steps forward he closed the distance between them. "Oh right, Kayla." He laughed, of course she wasn't expecting him to show up. No one expects a dead man.
"It's a bit of a long story. See, after you left me on the beach Neva found me. Luckily she didn't think the same as you." He was angrier than he expected, it had been a long time. "We didn't know what happened to you, we searched. Neva though you might be dead. You got awful good at disappearing again, until you weren't." The stories that were always in the back pages about Brooklyn's wild dog attacks. That's how he always found her.
"Now that you're caught what's the plan? Run away again, take responsibility, or just plain denial?" He wasn't trying to be hurtful but the words just flowed. He blamed her for her actions and everything leading up to this moment. |

He let her get several feet away before following, she'd be astonished at his presence. His steps were mute on the pavement as he crept behind her. He reached forward and grasped her at the waist. Things had been happening, strange things around the realm. Murders. That was normally Levi's work but not this time. So he set off to see whom may be taking his glory. At some point he had heard that someone had witnessed what exactly had happened and that person was one that he somewhat knew.
"Kayla, I have been told that you may have witnessed a killing around here somewhere. If so I would like to know a little bit about it."
Levi stood in front of her and waited on his answer but in the time he waited he gave her a once over look, then a second. It was then a grin came to his face and he gave that third glance over her frame. The words quickly slipped his lips, he almost regretted saying them as soon as he spoke.
"Girl I also bet you taste salty, salty like some side meat."
Levi licked his lips when the words flowed out, then a quick scratch to his chin before falling silent and waiting the answer for him to set out and find a killer. |

She saw the headlines and her stomach turned over. What was going on?!?! There had to be something connecting all these recent events and she was determined to find out what it was. Hearing there was a witness, she grabbed her notebook and headed out to find her.
"Excuse me Miss Holloway? My name is Shannon, and I'm investigating the recent horrific events the Realm is experiencing. Sources say that you were witness to the tragic events. I was wondering if you might share anything you saw or heard so we can bring this to a halt! Any information you can provide is greatly appreciated." |

+Marah was a professional she knew the bizz. If it wasn't defense then she had a reason and in the business there could be plenty. Lots of reasons ran through her mind. But only two struck out in her mind if it was deliberate. He was cheating her out of money or if they were a couple he could have been cheating on her. Then something else crossed her mind. What if he promised her the world and didn't follow through with his promises. But the big question of all was who was this woman and how would she find her.+ + |

The world had definitely gone off the rails. Waking up a couple of mornings ago, everything had seemed perfectly normal. But Josie had dared to exhale while blinking slowly and all of a sudden murderous shenanigans took place all over the place. And somehow the universe was expecting her to move way out of her comfortzone and actually talk to the witnesses. Such a cruel joke, but that was what Josie had been used to, so what was new. She would talk, or at least try, but that would probably be as far as she went. Others would have to do the actual untangling of who did what in each case of shenanigans.
